Trump is clearly not calling all Mexicans nor all illegal Mexican immigrants rapists.
Could his comments still be seen as offensive? Sure, but he is not saying all Mexicans are rapists.
Now that you know this, can you commit to stopping the spread of the lies?
Look Trump says enough bad things that you can actually be truthful to disparage his record without lying. Don't you think there is enough truthful comments you can make against him?
Sanders said all people in the country 18 and up should be automatically registered to vote. Would you be fine with Republicans screaming that foreigners on vacation would be able to vote under Sander's plan? Hillary said she was proud that Iranians were her enemies. Would you be fine with Republicans screaming that Hillary considers Iranian babies her enemy? If you wouldn't be fine with those comments, why are you fine with the same nonsense in reverse?
MSM is not perfect but in general, it just reports what's going on. If you don't like what's going on, its not the medias fault. If some one kills someone else, and the media reports it, who is responsible for the death, the killer or the media? Quit blaming the media for everything you don't like. Don't kill the messenger.
And Democrats are editing what was said to push a lie. They could have even been truthful and taken the same comments and used it to show an insensitive/offensive Trump without the lie.
The DACA film and panel that I went to was repeating and perpetuating a lie. Trump never said that all Mexicans were rapists.
Don't you think Trump supporters are going to dig in their heels on real issues against Trump when they see people like you, people in the MSM, and even professors pushing something that is a blatant lie? Won't they think it is just another lie from liars when you have legitimate complaints against Trump?
I went to a film and panel discussion about Trump canceling DACA. The film brought up valuable points in favor of continuing DACA.
The film however lied about Trump calling all Mexican immigrants rapists. The guy who made the film, a professor at Michigan State University, lied during the panel discussion repeating the claim. One of the DACA recipients in the film repeated the lie. Audience members during the Q and A were also repeating the lie.
The New York Times, the Washington Post, Time Magazine, the Associated Press, CBS News, and many other media sources have all published false information on what Trump said.
Trump has lots of offensive comments, why not just stick to the real ones instead of lying so much? Is the lie intended to get out more Hispanic voters in 2018 and 2020?
Bernie Sanders said "we have to pass a constitutional amendment that everyone in America who is 18 years old or older is registered to vote." Would liberals be fine with conservatives and FoxNews thus claiming that Bernie supports even tourists voting? It is the same pathetic logic that they make with Trump said all Mexicans are rapists.
In the Democrats' defense, there are many decent immigrants. Other than being here illegally, there are immigrants that are otherwise decent people.
What the hell's that got to do with anything?
I'm sure there are plenty of car thiefs, burglars, bank robbers, rapists, or murderers, who when not committing their crimes are otherwise decent people. At least, they'd certainly fool a casual inspection.
What about Ted Bundy? Very personable, charming.

The media is big into reporting agenda and anything that can generate a headline. They may not invent the story, as in fiction, but they can and do change the context, sequence of events, or intentionally quote out of context.
The footage of the weatherman pretending the wind was too strong to stand against is proof of just how lame the media has become.
The media is all over Trump for past sexual indiscretions but even now still sugar coat the slime Bill Clinton was involved with.

At time 0:18 - 0:40 in the following video Trump explains how Mexico is sending its criminals and rapists to America.
Clearly Trump has said Mexico is sending their rapists to America, Mexicans are raping people on levels no one has seen before, and illegal Mexicans are responsible for huge/unthinkable numbers of American rapes.
Facts are that Trump hired a bunch of actors to wear Trump T-shirts as he descended on the golden escalator, and then he said

Then Cult 45 declares that EVERYONE should know he didn't mean what he said. So Trump cannot actually articulate anything without a speechwriter, but everyone else is supposed to read his warped mind. We must know he is not bashing Mexicans, even though he said "Mexicans" not illegal immigrants. He said this while standing next to his mannequin whose own immigration to the US remains highly questionable. So he's also a hypocrite.
Please. It did not work when he said it, and it doesn't work now. Donald Trump is an insensitive ignorant clod.
When Republicans register voters, they're not registering our best.
They're registering people that have a lot of problems, and they're laying those problems on us us. They're dealing drugs. They're committing crimes. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.
