And why do liberals want an open door immigration policy for people wanting out from their broken third world countries? Why on earth would we want to allow in all those misogynistic sexist men and their macho culture? How is that kind of diversity good for our country?

If it were a criminal court this would all be tossed in the trash.

There are many women who really go through this trauma and, talking about it in a hearing is very scary.

In her case though, she is just a paid liar. That deer-in-the-headlights look she always had was because she didn't want to end up as a suicide in the news over "emotional trauma" ...a suicide with 2 different caliber entry wounds in the back of her head...

Dude got jammed up 35 years later, and he probably didn't even do it. Guilty until proven innocent. Baseless accusations with no suppkrt carry as much weight as video evidence in the middle of a crowd. Here, chain this boulder to your ankle. If you float and live, you're guilty; be burned at the stake. If you sink and drown, you're innocent; you are absolved of your imaginary and likely incorrectly charged sin...

you don't think she would go off at the GOP? you think people wouldn't give her a pass? ....you think the same democrats that are now saying Kavanaugh shouldn't be in S.C. because of his temperament at the hearing would say the same thing if Sotomayor did the same thing under the same scenarios?

you know the answer to that...she would get more sympathy because she is a liberal Latina woman.....but since Kavanaugh is a white conservative, not so much.
No women would cry like Kavanaugh did if they were in the same hearing. That was just absurd

The sad fact is that you anti Kavanaugh snowflakes won't believe the truth now that it has hit you in the face

SIX deep FBI background checks (one while right out of college) spanning over 40 years of exemplary service to our country HAVE TURNED UP NOTHING NADA, ZIP,ZILCH!!!!!!!

Get over it!

Having a buddy run your investigation into lying under oath seems like a pretty good fallback if it had to happen...

This was as much a whitewash as many others that have happened

Story in my local FTW paper about a man who was in prison for over 19 yrs because of shoddy police work and a DA that allowed jailhouse informant testimony to be used w/o any other exculpatory evidence...
They took the easy way out and accused an innocent man--what Kavanaugh claims he is...

If you don't LOOK for evidence a crime has been committeed, you can't find it...
You as a police office can certainly interview people who have emails that show Kavanaugh was asking for info about Debbie Ramirez before her story was published in the Atlantic

You can certainly interview Ed Whelan, a close personal friend of Kavanaugh's and. Working to help him through the nomination process, and ask how HE found out about Ford and was on her linked in page before her name was public...

You can certainly interview Kavanaugh's roommate and Yale classmates about his drinking/party habits you saw with your own eyes...

But none of that was done because there was no desire to seek truth--
Only a protective cloaking device much better than the Romulans ever employed...
The FBI conducts criminal investigation. They aren't allow to go outside the scope of their investigation. Their investigation centered around Ford's accusation. The Yale classmate is outside the scope of the investigation, which is to find verifiable evidence of sexual misconduct. The FBI is not conducting this investigation to verify the claims of his Yale classmate about Kavanaugh drinking. Likewise, the investigation isn't about Kavanaugh lying under oath. The investigation was left to the discretion of the FBI to determine who to interview. The FBI is not your Democrats personal political arm to conduct investigation outside the scope of the investigation.

You obviously don't have any idea how the FBI conducts investigations.

Here is a link to youtube videos about many cases the FBI has investigated.

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=FBI+files

Those youtube videos are about real FBI cases, including rape cases. The shows center around interviews with FBI agents and reenactments.

You should educated yourself about how the FBI conducts investigations before making unfounded accusations about the FBI.

This is why the Mueller investigation won't find sufficient evidence to convict any person on collusion charges with Russia. The evidence to proof collusion, if there is any evidence, is in foreign countries, specifically Russia. Russia will never give access to USA agents to investigate Russian collusion. That's why Mueller was only able to convict Manafort on tax evasion charges and not on the more serious charges of collusion.

It's easy to not remember exact dates/years of events which occurred decades earlier. I just cited upthread a workplace assault which I said took place 15 years ago. Now that I think about it - counting back the years - it was probably 17 years ago - or so. I know the event took place on a Saturday late afternoon in the late summer early fall - late 90's or early 2000's - but beyond that I couldn't be date specific. And, I gave it no thought at all thereafter - until all this brouhaha began with Kavanaugh.
How does his calendar corroborate her story again? Was it that July 1st date they kept talking about? The only party listed with P.J., Judge, and Kavanaugh mentioned in his calendar? The calendar also mentioned Squi was there, and she testified that she dated Squi for a few months before this supposed event and he was the person that she had as a common friend with Kavanaugh and Judge, so it’s unlikely she would forget he was there. Yet she said she didn’t know or forgot who the fourth boy at the party was. Also, they went to football practice first from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and she testified it was early evening, a pre-gathering before a party and that Kavanaugh and Judge were extremely inebriated. I don’t think that would fit with her description.

I do know an act when I see one, she tried hard but in the end she came off as a dishonest old hag looking for a dollar and trying to cement her name in history.
