Wait, you're alleging a causal connection between legalization and fewer "drug problems?" Please describe how precisely the independent variable in this case results in the dependent variable.

Still waiting for an answer: with all the health benefits you and others claim from marijuana, why on earth wouldn't we want medically-administered use of marijuana for children and teens? Or is it harmful for kids but not adults?

Not controlling what people do at home on their own time. If I wanna have a drink or a smoke on my day off, maybe sit on my porch or do work on my computer, why not?
I don't touch alcohol. Now what are you going to do? Beyond the particulars of this issue, there are some basic lessons here in debating that should be learned.
The first rule of debating is not to take things personally, I never called you out or responded to one of your post. Until now. Yet whining about people who use pot like myself don’t abuse it nor do they seek out to do something stupid. Yet alcohol abuse runs amock.
Why not everyday? Given all the health benefits it has?
Millions do use it everyday. It has been that way for 50 years. But the vast majority of those users are responsible, hard-working adults who never cross paths with police, homeless shelters, courtrooms, emergency rooms, drug counselors, high school teachers, etc.
So the folks working in those fields get a skewed perception when all they see everyday are people with problems, most of which seem to use cannabis. They start to believe the plant caused it, when in most cases all it did was amplify what was already there.
But for every one of those troubled persons who have marijuana in their history, there are at least 100 more daily users that are responsible, productive citizens who are completely indistinguishable from the responsible, productive non-users. Every single one of them, not to mention law enforcement officers, are placed at risk by prohibition.
