That's what a leader with real power looks like. I'm not trying to defend Pence; I'm just pointing out that when it comes to the nonverbals, he won the day. Trump talks too damn much, and it makes him look weak.

Pence sat there looking like a ventriloquist's dummy. But there was no one to put words in his mouth. What a change that would be, to shift from the Orange Stooge, to him!

Pence is just a stupid wall flower, and he’s not even a looker at that. Both pence and the orange bozo should never have been elected.

Shut the federal government down. 3 months, 6 months, however long it takes. 80% of what they do isn't necessary anyway.
The idiotic 34% once again demonstrates their collective stupidity.....

Tough. I'm fine with that as long as we get the border security (including the wall) that we so sorely need.

Why are there any discussions on paying for the wall? Trump said Mexico is going to pay for it. End of story.

Exactly!

Though the new story is that taxpayers would front the money tp pay for it and eventually it would be reimbursed.

Ask anyone who has ever loaned money to Trump whether that's a good plan.

The only thing Pelosi has ever been brilliant at is making herself look like a fool.

I want to build a new house. I should just build and probably pay back the creditor later

That's not the new story, that's the old story. Nobody in their right mind should have expected that Mexico was going to write a check for the wall. The money was always going to come from.... repeat after me...

* Taxes, telephone or otherwise
* Tariffs
* Drug Money confiscation
* Fines on illegal immigrants
* Currency devaluations

Glad I could set the record straight, again.

By the way considering that the government is borrowing roughly 2 billion dollars EVERY DAY to stay in business, the entire wall could be paid for in about 13 days.

Is the future reimbursement going to be in writing and legally binding?
