Speaking of staying on topic, I find it odd that you are outraged that this money was spent and "could have fed starving people" yet you have zero to say about the fact that the family served 46,000 meals to homeless, poor, orphaned, and disabled people in ceremonies leading up to the wedding.
From a population comparison, America's poverty problem is minute compared to that of India and China. However, one reason accounting for the high amount of unhealthiness in India is how dirty the Ganges River is.
Indeed. It's unconscionable that these people would attend such an outlandish wasteful party, $100,000,000 wasted on a single bride, in a country with such poverty, hardship and human suffering. 100s of 1000s living in squalor just a few blocks from that place.

Then there’s the 100,000 sq ft Mar a Lago in a county where 1,308 live outside in spaces not intended for human occupancy. Imagine a few of them could mow the grass at Mar a Lago if Trump Org did not import H2B visa workers despite the county making it clear, hundreds of unemployed locals qualify.

Topic IS about you complaining that the money could have been spent on feeding starving people, yet it turns out they DID serve almost 46,000 meals to people in need as part of the ceremony. So is the point of your thread now invalid?
This is the sum being wasted on one single wedding there. This in a country where 270 million live at below the national poverty line set at $14/month income.
