Again, Pelosi's house does not have a wall, and neither does Obamas.

Obama's house has knee high retaining wall and decorative fence for landscaping, and Pelosi's house is right on the sidewalk.

Are you asking the government to build a wall around every house in US? That would an incredibly dumb idea, but assuming Obamas house actually had a wall (which is does not) and you wanted equal protection for everyone, then everyone would have to have a wall around their house.

Not anwhere near as easily as trying to scale a wall designed to deflect intrusion. I maintain my position on this... If Pelosi and Obama deserve being protected from unathorized entrants where they live, so does EVERY US citizen and legal resident.

You were shown your claim about walls around Pelosi and Obama houses was not true, and you still choose to push the fake news. Not very honest.

Having a hard time admitting being wrong?

Picture of Pelosi's house. No wall

Can't the Army Corps of Engineers build the wall?-img_2038.jpg

They already used eminent domaine in the Valley when GWB was POTUS. The Anglos got a fair price and then some for their seized land, the others got screwed. The lawsuit are still pending. Now that the Rs have all the judges they need, settle those lawsuits.

We were already in a deficit mess. Cutting taxes while the wall needed funding was a dumb move. Tells me the Republicans are just blowing smoke, again.

Public assistance needs to be cut, and drastically so. It makes NO sense whatsoever to financially incentivize the poor out-breeding the financially self-sufficient by a rate of 3 to 1 (Census data). 48% of all US births/year are paid for by Medicaid, the public assistance free healthcare program for the poor, despite the fact that the US has a poverty rate of only 13.5%. 70% of those Medicaid babies will NEVER rise out of the bottom income quintile (ceiling income cutoff: $20,000/year), ever, their entire lives, necessitating a lifetime support of public assistance paid for by earnings TAKEN from others.

As the parent of a civil engineer, I'd much rather the Corps of Engineers continue focusing on repairing our nation's failing infrastructure than building what I think would eventually end up being a huge boondoggle were the wall to go forward. This is not a necessary project. It's Trump pandering to fear rather than working with the legislature to fund border security through less expensive but equally effective means. The thing is that Trump envisions this wall as his legacy because his entire life has been focused on building enormous structures, slapping his name on them, and then walking away. The issue is further complicated because he made promises during the campaign that he has not been able to keep, which led to the fit of pique we witnessed a couple of days ago in the Oval Office. It's a matter of pride now, and that's not the foundation of good decision-making.

In the other hand, it does not look like Trump even wants a wall anymore. He didn't even try to crack a deal with Dems, so it seems he is only using it to rile up his loyalists.
Part of it? What are you going on about now? Giving the French some credit? They deserve none, the Army Corp of Engineers had to rebuild everything they touched.

Not to take any credit away from ACE, but the French started it, then US railroad engineers took over, and 3 years later the ACE took over together with civilian engineers and wrapped it up.
