Democrats are too paralyzed by their leaders and radical anti Trump base to even attempt to solve one of the longest running issues that voters are most concerned about. These politicians know exactly what the problem is but they are too handcuffed politically to do anything about it out of fear that it will be seen as a “Trump victory”

Listen to the border patrol and give them what they need to effectively do their job. They all voted to spend trillions of taxpayer dollars in the Middle East on wars that have no interest in our national security yet refuse to spend anything securing to secure our own border. It’s beyond time to address the issues at our southern border, stop turning a blind eye

I think the GOP passed up their best deal back in early 2018, time will tell.

We have yet to get a decent answer from any of the Trump supporters here on that...

Exactly. Most Trump haters are sick individuals. They won't spend $0.02 on any border wall, fence, barrier solely because Trump is in office. They couldn't care less how many Americans die or are in any way victims of illegal alien criminals. Illegals aliens would show more respect for existing immigration laws if we enforced them.

They should be deported ASAP. Those employing them should have the F fined out of them and there should be some decent border/barrier/deterrent. And most Trump haters/traitors should have their sticks removed.

Because amnesty or path to citizenship for DACA is anathema to the GOP base - a large portion of them, not just Trump's 30%. They won't allow it. There will never be comprehensive immigration reform to include DACA as long as the GOP controls even one branch of govt.

The irony is that very same base elected the biggest lawbreaker and liar as president. And, yet, they refuse to consider citizenship for kids who never KNOWINGLY broke the law - while Trump has lied, cheated, stolen, and with malice aforethought deliberately broken the law his entire life.

Inquiring minds...
Something not answered either is - how long will it take to finish the wall ? It certainly won’t stop this immediate crisis !

Right back at ya.

During Obama's first two years of his first term he had a majority democrat house and senate. Why didn't he cram through amnesty and ram it down our throats?

Ponder that long enough and you will have your answer regarding Trump.
