What does that have to do with anything at all? Of course there aren't as many illegals coming across the border over past two years. We've begun cracking down on it. What happens when Trump leaves office, and we start getting increases?
It's been on a downward trend since 2006. Trump has had nothing to do with it.

The only stats are on apprehensions. So if apprehensions are lower is that because there are less attempts due to fear of apprehension or worse security or just plain less looking to immigrate? Considering many illegals will attempt to cross again after an apprehension I think we can eliminate that notion of apprehension as a deterrent. That leaves less attempts due to socioeconomic reasons or worse security. I doubt our security has declined so that leaves less people wanting to immigrate.
Most Americans do not want the wall. Trump shut the government down for no reason besides listening to Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity. His name is on the shutdown, and it will be on the recession/depression if the GOP doesn't put pressure on him to quit being a petulant child and at least pretend he's a leader.
The democrats will be in far more trouble if they capitulate to this would-be dictator.
The gofund me for the wall is over 19 million. Take a look and you will see people donating in drips and drabs every few minutes. That alone tells me that a lot of Americans want the wall.
Why do you continue to lie? The Republicans in the House passed a bill to fund the wall. Republicans in the Senate did so as well, with a majority. However, Senate Dems couldn't accept that and invoked filibuster rules, which require 60 votes to pass. Dems shut down border security efforts aimed at protecting American citizens and overwhelmed the majority of the Senate.
this is completely false. The Senate passed CRs unanimously in the prior session. But the House refused to pass the same ones. No Senate filibuster was required for something that passed unanimously. The issue now is that traitor McConnell won't even allow the Senate to vote on the current CRs (which are WORD FOR WORD what previously passed in the Senate) now passed by the House because lying Trump and Fox News don't want to reopen the government.
Trump and the GOP own the shutdown, just like Trump himself said when he met with Pelosi and Schumer. Any claim to the contrary is a lie just like the idiotic GOPer lie that all Democrats want an open border. Not wanting a wall because it's a huge waste of money to build something that won't even work isn't remotely the same thing as not wanting border security of any sort.

They are the minority and the Trump believers. Very sad.
$19 million! Only $4,981,000,000 to go !
And only 363,000 of the 63 million who voted for Trump have donated. Looks like the majority of Trump voters don't want the wall.
