Trump released a statement through Twitter, describing the deal...

Quote:
MEXICO IS PAYING FOR THE WALL through the many billions of dollars a year that the U.S.A. is saving through the new Trade Deal, the USMCA, that will replace the horrendous NAFTA Trade Deal, which has so badly hurt our Country. Mexico & Canada will also thrive - good for all!

Why is the wall such a joke to the Dems?

There is a problem at the border. A wall would funnel "migrants" that have a legitimate request for asylum etc.. to places where they could plead their cases instead of trying their luck through more dangerous areas of the border.

I thought the Dems were all about the humanitarian aspect of the "migrants" ? Where is the humanity forcing people to take a dangerous journey and dragging their kids along with them? A wall would stop them from trying and put them in a spot where they could be safe and receive care.

But then again the ones that are risking their lives and trying to bypass our border security know they are breaking the law and that doesn't matter to them because they know if they are caught there are very few penalties for them.

What is happening at the border and happening to our country is not a joke.

The joke is what is happening at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

We need that wall built. If the Democrats found out all the immigrants coming across our border were to vote Republican in future elections, the funding would be approved in a month. Tops!

Since corporations have received such lovely permanent tax cuts, let them pay the Grifter in Chief back by paying to name sections of the wall after themselves as they do with stadiums these days.

If the accountants did their job they could point to the savings realized by NAFTA-2 and bank it. As it stands, we know very little about the new deal.
