Trump's not willing to give the Dreamers a path to citizenship. He is only offering a three year extension. But the point that ticks me off is that he is holding our government workers and the trickle down people they support (child care, cleaning services, restaurants workers, etc.) hostage. How is that right in anyone's book? Mitch needs to start doing his job and putting stuff that's passed in the house up for a vote in the senate.
It's a trickle-down case of GOP paralysis.
From the bottom up:
1) McConnell can't do his job because tRump won't permit it.
2) tRump can't make a move because co-presidents Limbaugh and Coulter have neutered him.
You are correct. The dems are the terrorists here. They are putting illegal aliens ahead of the millions of suffering underemployed and unemployed American citizens.
That's BS. Dems operating within confines of Congressional processes, where they can support or oppose bills. Trump took American families hostage.

Aw c'mon, B2...
Pub employers are hiring those illegals by the millions, leaving that many American workers idle.
The point I made clearly was that the democrats promised Reagan they would work top solve immigration, and went back on their word, once Reagan gave the millions who entered illegally, amnesty.
Immigration reform was a dead issue in the democratic party, once amnesty was granted by Reagan.
The dems CAN NOT BE TRUSTED.
THEY HAVE ALREADY SHOWN THAT. in the past.
Bob.
And your point is untrue, incorrect, and just a flat out LIE.

The fault was clearly on the dems just as it is presently concerning immigration.
Like in 84, they now want amnesty for the dreamers, just as they wanted it for the 11 million back in 84.
They promised Reagan, and then did nothing.
You dems are a miserable bunch.
"Open up the government, then we can deal".
Same old sh.. they preached back in 84.
They are not to be trusted, or believed.
Bob.
Repeating the same old lie. Get some new - and correct material.

LOL. Waiting for Trump's economy to explode more likely. 800,000 jobs going away would have a signficant impact on this economy and his own administration agrees.
Heck, just allowing the shut down to go on will negatively impact this economy. It doesn't just impact the 800,000 federal employess; it impact all the businesses in their states; their families; and so and so forth.

$3.5 billion for border security and a path to citizenship for the 800,000 or so dreamers. Win win, both sides don’t get everything they want. I’m sure you could agree to this reasonable deal?
"No, Amnesty is not a part of my offer. It is a 3-year extension of DACA. Amnesty will be used only on a much bigger deal, whether on immigration or something else," Trump said on Twitter. https://news.yahoo.com/trump-says-no...153324522.html
Also, my understanding is that employer penalties were stripped from the bill right before it passed.
Is this accurate?
That's true.
