Please watch the clip. It’s like conservative media is calling the shots for America (via Individual 1). Agree?

Trump is being pressured to listen to his base. This actually a good thing. You want the president to listen to the base that got him elected. This is what president's are supposed to do in a democracy. Not forgot the people who got them elected.

Trump gets accused of being a dictator, fascist etc but at least here, he's being a very democratic leader.

Yes. Most Trump supporters are not capable of independent thinking. They believe whatever Trump and Fox News tells them to think.

They literally think that anybody who disagrees with Trump or Fox News is lying.

I think he should make decisions based on what’s best for the entire country. As it is right now, he’s making decisions based on what Coulter, Hannity, etc want. He’s even actively hurting people he thinks didn’t vote for him (government employees). [No cost-of-living raise; holding us hostage.]

That’s not OK.

Actually he is supposed to be President of everyone not just his base which only comprises of some 40% or less of Americans. A good President would listen to everyone. He is not even close to being a democratic leader. He was ready to sign a bill to keep the government open until Coulter and Rush slammed him for not getting funding for the wall. How is that being a democratic leader. The man doesn't have a clue how to negotiate.

And yes since Trump gets his marching orders from Coulter, Rush, and Hannity, so do his base.

Exactly. I-1 has no backbone, and he doesn’t stand for anything.

It's always been troubling to hear Trump loyalists (formerly the anti-Obama crowd) come on here and parrot, almost verbatim, what they hear on Rush/Fox/Hannity/Alex Jones/etc….

Much of that is deliberate misinformation.

What it proves to me is a clear and distinct lack of critical thinking skills, and the GOP has always known this and cultivated this.

The Dumbing Down of America is deliberate, calculated, and gave us Donald Trump.

He is president for everyone, but he ran on a specific platform and those people elected him. Now, he should proceed to deliver on that platform. Not listen to some polls (which may or may not be accurate) that claim only 40% support that wall when he's the one sitting in the office after running on building that wall.

Actually, no Trump is not a democratic leader.

He is governing for 25% of the country and attacking the rest of us. Hannity and Ingraham are not all that bright and should not be the senior advisors of the WH because our president is too ignorant and indecisive to make his own decisions or govern the entire US.

What we have had for the last two years is minority or 'mob' rule.
