It has become symbolic of bigotry and intolerance. The wearers are usually looking to start something. We shouldn’t give them the satisfaction, though. I say ignore them, and reaffirm your vote for the democrats in 2020.

Kind of like freedom of religion is ONLY for white evangelical "born again" Christians and all other faiths/creeds/beliefs do not apply.

This MAGA movement is anti-American to its core, despite the fact it's draped in a flag and waving a cross.

Maybe people should address those who are actually hating and wishing harm on others... instead of focusing on a hat.

What does freedom of speech mean to you? It doesn't mean freedom from consequences if that's what you're thinking. It doesn't mean people won't speak to or glare at someone for their hateful beliefs. Here's a refresher.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Would you say the same about someone wearing a "Change you Can Believe in" or "I'm with Her" hat? Remember it's not about what the person wearing the hat thinks it means, it's about how the opposition chooses to perceive it.

Do you really not understand how freedom of speech works? Your freedom of speech doesn't mean that others don't have it, too.

I swear... Does this have to be repeated daily here?

No because the messaging rolled up in those campaigns is no where near the hateful, spiteful, or negative level that Trump's was in his campaign (and has continued to be through his presidency).

The unhinged liberals think everything is "racist," so I'm sure an inanimate object like a hat is no different.

It is only a symbol of hate to those that make it so. Other than that, it is just a campaign slogan.

It is such a shame that people can let themselves be led down this path of hate over a stupid hat.

It's *almost* as hateful and spiteful as accusing someone who disagrees with you politically of being a racist. Something you and your cohorts do daily.
