I recognize there is genuine LGBT-phobia but the victim card is often used way too much!

The Catholic church does not go out or force anyone to join. You need to go to them to join and can drop out anytime you want. if you don't like what they teach why try to have your kids go to their school? Doesn't make sense.

Every major religion condemns homosexual behavior as sinful so why is anyone shocked? Is it because its rare to see any organization stand by its principles in the face of hateful aggression from the perverted forces of evil, the forces that are successfully subverting our society and undermining thousands of years of social values and traditional morality?

IF we all abandon our principles then we cease to have any civilization at all. Anything goes...and right back to the Law of the Jungle.

That's what leftists want though. They say and show it all the time.

Very fair points. Surround yourself with people that have similar views and beliefs as you. Don't try to force or shame others to change as it will rarely work. And, in many cases, it will backfire. Note, its one thing to fight to government to treat people with dignity, equality, etc., but this is a private organization.

Many people around here, send their kids to catholic schools ONLY because they believe its a better education, usually has nothing at all to do with religious beliefs, they think it will help their kids to have an advantage.

Yet you are against mosques and synogogues being taxed, perhaps because you agree with their ideologies????

And many others send their children to Catholic schools because they want their children educated in a religious-sponsored institution. In any event, the teachings of the Catholic Church on certain issues are and have long been clear. What happened here shouldn't be a shock to anyone. And you're not going to get the church to change by shaming it into submission. While I wish that the Catholic Church didn't have such policies, I will defend their right under our Constitution to have such policies.
