I'm not sure why they didn't send CPS with the police, but I am very glad something was done.

Freedom to kill your kids is not a "thing."

I hear the kid was also holding fresh milk his dad bought from an Amish farmer.

This father is clearly the Al Capone of our time. Straight up OG.
This is how it starts, next will be FORCED vaccination,FORCED euthanasia etc etc. No doubt there are those here and all over the country that cheer on such totalitarian tactics yet they decry President Trump in the same breath...hypocrites.

They like big government, as long as it's doing what they want.
I'd suggest leaving vaccines and guns to another topic entirely. That is where these topics belong. Guns are ENTIRELY irrelevant and vaccines are somewhat irrelevant since this is a fever (though it is common with immunizations, though not a 105 fever typically.) What I see with this is a problem of "parents" not being good parents at all. From all local news outlets, these "parents" or as they should have been called breeders, believed in faulty science similar to the anti-vaccine people (that aren't based on religious convictions). They didn't even believe their family doctor. I'm sorry but these breeders shouldn't have parental rights because they were a danger to their offspring.

I have read several articles about this as it is a local story for me as was past child services issues leading to the law used by police to remove the children AFTER the parents didn't show the child to the police when they said "the fever broke". Any idiot can say "the fever broke" but what the parents did with this dangerous 105 fever was act like something was wrong and another one of their children was sick as well. What I don't know is one, how long the fever lasted (for a two year old, it is 24-48 hours but 105 is suggested medical attention for adults); two, when the fever broke; three, when the doctor visit was in relation to all this (that said the doctor despite being holistic strongly encouraged a hospital visit); and finally four, how long was it before the cops returned after the first contact.

We should all report it when it happens as well as stick our kids out the window when the fuzz comes by so they can give a medical exam.
I can understand that, but how often does one child have a 105 fever, then get their sibling similarly sick after a botched welfare check (and not by the police.)

No doubt! The intent is clearly to characterize police officers as "jack booted thugs" but they were conducting a health and welfare check and the homeowner would not permit it, so they had to get as warrant. A child with a 105 degree fever can easily die from it.

It is relevant because the same people who bash cops for stepping in bash them for not stepping in. They want an authoritarian government as long as it does what they believe in. That's my point. In one breath they want the big brother all in our lives and the next cops are pigs. This thread is intended to be a bash cops thread.

The parents could have cooperated, worse case scenario the kid gets checked out and is fine. No harm no foul.

Show proof the parent was trying to kill their child. I think it's sleazy to accuse that parent of doing that.

No they don't, That's just something the bots repeat because they think it's clever. Show proof of this or quit making things up.

Your point is dishonest. You make things up.

May as well let the cops search your house without a warrant. If they dont find anything no harm no foul right? We fought a revolutionary war over things like this and don't you ever forget it.

There is no reason to believe any of your posts. Your post is proof you'll say anything and make up anything.
