PP does not care about our children except for the bottom line of the money they take in each year.

CPS could have gotten involved----IF PP HAD REPORTED IT. Yes, her mother should be responsible as well. They should all go to jail for what was done to this girl and others in her position.

Why are you saying right wingers? So you think leftists would not care when something like this happens? That is what you think of liberals?
The news article said the abortions started after Wiley brought in other men to have sex with her when she was 17.

Do you have a source that says he took her to Planned Parenthood?

"WFTV 9 reports police arrested Leon N. Wiley Jr., 52, of Flagler County, Florida, this month for allegedly raping the young woman at least 500 times starting when she was age 12. The victim, now 21, told police that Wiley raped her up to “three times a day” from age 12 until last year.
According to police, the victim said Wiley would rape her, but he also would invite friends over to rape her as well. She said she became pregnant seven times, and each time Wiley took her to an abortion clinic to abort her unborn baby.
Police said they are investigating whether Wiley also sexually assaulted the victim’s 7-year-old daughter. They said they suspect sex trafficking may have been involved as well."

How horrible. The workers at PP who have left said sometimes the workers at PP asked if they should report older men bringing in young girls for abortions and all they were told was, "oh she will just be in here with another older man next month." How is that for helping women and little girls?
Where does it say Planned Parenthood? Point it out.

So, how exactly is closing abortion clinics going to stop men from raping little girls?

Seems like pro-lifers are more upset that little girls aren't forced to give birth than they are about them being raped in the first place.

Pro-lifers care more about fetuses than they do about children.....after a fetus is born "not my problem".

That's like saying pro-abortion people think if little girls get raped, not my problem she can get an abortion.

Anyone who would work at PP is a horrible evil person who is most certainly going straight to hell when they die. So this does not surprise me at all.

They trusted Wiley to give her correct age? I would say it was PP since the workers who came out of PP say things like this happen there and it's not reported. All they care about is the money.

In other words, no, you have no confirmation it was Planned Parenthood.

The information about age came from the victim herself.

Florida has Mandatory Reporting laws for child abuse, including sexual abuse, which cover nurses & doctors. See https://www.jdsupra.com/legalnews/fl...ng-laws-73308/ for who has to report. If there were nurses, doctors, anesthesiologists - all of whom should have attended the patient during abortions. (The site quoted is from Jan. 2012. The actual laws & reporting requirements may be older than that.)

Likely there were several mistakes in accepting a minor as a patient, without a responsible relative signing for her - certainly a 12-year-old wouldn't have the money to pay for an abortion, & TMK, only a parent or guardian of age could have signed permissions & paid or accepted responsibility to pay for any surgical procedures for her.

Except that is exactly what happen when abortion was illegal.

"In the 1940s, records show that more than 1,000 women died each year from abortions that were labeled as unsafe. "

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unsafe...3_(Roe_v._Wade)

The way I see it... anything can be abused. Heck a knife used for cooking can also be used to kill. In that case, the core discussion is the person who used the knife to kill. Abortion can be safe within laws/legal guidelines including to protect women and children. The core of discussion here isn't abortion... the core discussion here is the rapist, child, and the clinics that allowed this to happen. Those clinics should be closed and those involved held responsible. The rapist should be punished to the fullest.

Turning this terrible event into a prolife vs prochoice debate is pure and utter selfish and short sighted.
