No one is advocating legal child prostitution. But just because prostitution is illegal does not stop child prostitution. Your link proves that. Perhaps if the gov't was not chasing around consenting adults and trying to entrap them they would have more resources available to catch the scum like the guy in your link quicker.
I have read the entire thread. I don't think you are understanding my position at all because you asked me again why I want laws to treat them like criminals, I don't want that. I already said that I don't think prostitutes should be arrested, if anyone is I think it should be people paying for them.
You don't understand my position yet you are arguing with me nonstop. Maybe YOU should go back and read the thread.
Another hater of freedom. LOCK THEM UP!!! She shouts off the rooftops!! Lets destroy some more lives over minor BS..
Prostitution legal as well as full term abortion?
From the vagina to garbage pail.
Nice job Mayor Billy and Governor Andy.
Murder Incorporated alive and well in year 2019.
Prostitution should be legal. It’s not something I support, but making it legal and regulated is more responsible than how we currently deal with the issue.
I say do it. What two consenting adults do with their time and money should be their business. Tax it, license it and make sure no one under age or against their will is doing it. And get it off the streets. A win-win.
Prostitution (the exchange of sexual services for money) itself has never been llegal itself in many countries.
For instance in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland), prostitution itself is legal in relation to consenting adults, but a number of related activities, including soliciting in a public place, kerb crawling, owning or managing a brothel, pimping and pandering etc are crimes.
Most modern day legal prostitution is now part of Escort Services and there is no real need for any change im the laws in most countries. In the UK working as an outcall escort is not an offence, and neither is working as a prostitute in private.
However, under the Policing and Crime Act 2009 it is a criminal offence to pay for services of a prostitute who is controlled for gain if any third party uses force, threat (whether or not relating to violence) or any other form of coercion.
Tax must also be paid by those in the sex sector and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (the equivalent of the IRS in the USA) have a specialist dedicated “adult entertainment task force” to collect unpaid income tax from sex workers and online escort agencies.
So the Government in Britain is okay with it, as long as it's consenting adults, you aren't on the streets pestering people or kerb crawling, you don't operate a brothel, there is no organised crime or third party pimp element and as long as you pay all due taxes to the Government on any profits.

No different from promiscuous sex without pay... Let's not imply that a significant source of abortion clinic visits is from prostitutes and not people being stupid.
The way to reduce abortion is through education so that people make conscious wise choices and access to birth control.
No sex worker I know works without being knowledgable and safe. Maintaining safe health is viable not only to their personal health but continued business. I would surmise drunken parties result in more unsafe sex practices. Sure druggie prostitutes probably fall into that category but their stupidity doesn't justify telling/forcing others how/what to do with their own bodies.
Typical argument... don't like prostitution, tie them to trafficking, STDs, and abortion. Ignore the fact that the general public probably contributes to all of that more so than a much smaller group of sex workers. Oh and let's not forget those that also blame high divorce rates on prostitutes as well. Heck.. let's blame the economy on them while we are at it.
This is the difference between knowledgeable sex workers who manage their health and those that don't:
