I’m proud to say I didn’t contribute a dime to his 40 million.

Project 21, black leadership network, says Reparations Proposal a “Sham” by Black Activists. Unnecessary and Divisive !!!

So on the question, who is trying to divide Americans at the top of the list are the democrats !!!

In particular is Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), with legislation in the House of Rep. and in the Senate Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ).

Reparations Proposal Called a “Sham” by Black Activists

Calling the idea of reparations for slavery a “sham,” members of the Project 21 black leadership network say black Americans who take advantage of opportunities already available to all Americans can still achieve the American Dream. They also say an upcoming congressional hearing on reparations is a crass political move to shore up black support and will only hurt race relations.

“Slavery ended more than 150 years ago. It doesn’t make sense to force people who didn’t own slaves to pay people who never were slaves.
Donna Jackson. “The best reparations for slavery is freedom – especially a free-market economy.

I just viewed a debate on PBS on reparations. In Germany the reparations to the Holocaust victims were paid to the living victims themselves. Reagan paid reparations to the Japanese interment camp survivors and their families directly affected. Eugenics which was the forced sterilization of what was considered "unfit" people have resulted in only one state North Carolina paying families of victims about 177 a $50,000 payment-I don't believe CA has paid reparations for that yet and they had more victims of the Eugenics. I do think a bill passed though to research to see how many victims are still alive in CA. There is talk about reparations for Black Farmers. There is also a forum for Gay reparations. Also, now with ancestry.com and people finding out they have African American dna this will open up a lot of questions as well.

Yes but after they had already allowed it, the government sponsored slavery as a policy. And American citizens fought that war, the government lost nothing in the end.
