This is the most untruthful, untrustworthy president in my lifetime.
The reason things are not getting done has little to do with the Democrats and everything to do with his own character and personality.
He ran on maternity leave and infrastructure. If the Democrats would wake up, they would realize that they can get a lot done with Trump, just as only he could have gotten through sentencing reform.
However, they are so engrossed in their hatred, they have made the biggest mistakes of their lives, not working with him to realize some of their long-sought goals.

He ran on deporting illegals - illegal immigration is at record levels
He ran on immigration reform - no reform
He had total control of Congress for 2 years and still none of these signature promises got done. One thing that DID get done was a huge tax cut for the rich - how convenient (which BTW has screwed the budget).

OP, for everyone of you lost two more will be gained from convicted felons, noncitizen immigrants (who are being allowed to vote now in many jurisdictions no matter their status) and 16 year olds.
Nowhere are 16 year olds or noncitizens allowed to vote in Federal elections. Maybe locally in some places, but never nationwide.
I'll NEVER be a Limbaugh-Hannity Republican, they make me throw up in my mouth... But, I'm losing all faith in the Democrats too.

California wants healthcare for Illegals?!?! I work 60 hours/week and can barely afford healthcare. Now they want my tax dollars to pay for an illegal to get it for free! I just had a tooth pulled because a root canal was too expensive but wait... we have to subsidize people who don't even live, work or pay taxes here (legally)??? Complete pandering for the Mexican vote.
News flash. Mexican Americans living and working in California probably feel the same way I do.
New York wants to give illegals drivers licenses! Really? Like some illegal alien is going to sign up at the registry. Never going to happen, just pandering for the Hispanic vote in NY.
Why don't they do what their original base voters want them to do and support the middle class.
We don't want old school socialism but we need social safety nets so one trip to the MD doesn't mean you cannot pay rent that month. Giving away tax dollars for votes is as bad as the Reps giving tax breaks for votes!!!
I understand your point of view, but here's the one important thing to keep in mind about health care for people who don't "deserve" it:
You don't want people who can't afford doctors to be on the loose infecting the general population.
But please keep in mind that no platform will please everyone, and not every fringe idea will become part of the platform. Don't give up on the Dems.
It would be extremely easy for the Democrats to work with someone like Trump to get things they say they want for the American people.
He would be more than willing to advocate and work for PTO and guaranteed maternity leave and for major investments in infrastructure for example.
So why haven't Democrats agreed? Because they are suffering from TDS, pure and simple and they cannot get over their hatred for them. They continue to put party and politics above country. Now, they look like the party that welcomes illegals, that welcomes depressed wages for working-class Americans and for protecting known criminal illegal aliens.
The insanity of their message is, well, insane!
Uh newsflash- McConnell and the pubs aren’t willing to work with the House on anything. They won’t even listen to bills that are designed to combat foreign interference with our elections.
