republicans are really screwing up an opportunity. all they need are average candidates and they could gain a lot of ground due to how historically bad the democrats are.

The Democratic Party has a big tent. The same party that backs a controversial platform such a Drivers licenses for illegals also backs Unions in making sure the worker gets a fair break. We try to make things better for all groups like LGBQT as well as farmers and consumers. We fight for a health plan for all, not just those that can afford it. We want an easy secure way for immigrants to come to our country but do not want open borders. We want fairness for all and not just people of our own age and skin color. When you look at pictures of our convention, you see people of all races. Compare that to the Republicans convention. Compare that to a MAGA rally.

I don't agree with everything the Democrats do. I can see why the healthcare for illegals thing upsets you. But I agree with the principle that our country should try to help those that can't help themselves. I believe that the many can turn back the predatory tactics of big business. I believe in having clean water and air. I believe in having a strong military but not throwing money away on a $700 toilet seat.

I believe in hope and not paranoia.

I'm sticking with the Dems. Good luck OP in whatever you decide to do.

Whats with the absolute pandering for votes they've been doing?
California wants healthcare for Illegals?!?! I work 60 hours/week and can barely afford healthcare. Now they want my tax dollars to pay for an illegal to get it for free! I just had a tooth pulled because a root canal was too expensive but wait... we have to subsidize people who don't even live, work or pay taxes here (legally)???
Complete pandering for the Mexican vote.
News flash. Mexican Americans living and working in California probably feel the same way I do.
New York wants to give illegals drivers licenses! Really? Like some illegal alien is going to sign up at the registry. Never going to happen, just pandering for the Hispanic vote in NY.

Why don't they do what their original base voters want them to do and support the middle class.
We don't want old school socialism but we need social safety nets so one trip to the MD doesn't mean you cannot pay rent that month.

Giving away tax dollars for votes is as bad as the Reps giving tax breaks for votes!!!
#walkaway!

We do not agree with Republicans all the time, but for sure most of the time not with Democrats.

I’m more to the middle when it comes to social issues as I do not care what others do inside their homes as long as it is legal. I wouldn’t care if prostitution will be legalized and taxed like my native country has. Two adults making a deal for sex, who cares, as long as both parties are deciding out of free will.

But when it comes to fiscal issues I’m more of a Conservative as government should stay out of that as much as possible. Seeing my kids taxed ridiculous high makes al, of them want to leave NY!

Looking at a city as NY, and thinking how it was under Giuliani and Bloomberg and see what the city looks like right now, is embarrassing and sad. The big dirty Apple!

Instead of helping the homeless, Vets, elderly, the left wants to give the money to illegals!

How anyone can vote for these left wing nutcases is mind boggling to me. Welcome to the party that looks out for Americans of all backgrounds, color, religion and fights for legal aliens.

The Millennial generation is overwhelmingly color and gender blind. They believe in things like gender fluidity, climate change, diversity, income inequality, gun control, environmental issues. They are not religious in the slightest.

THIS is the group you believe will turn into conservatives?

Dream on.
So what do you see happening? You think that the middle-class suburbs and upper-middle-class exurbs of the Midwest and the Southeast are going to become hotbeds of liberalism? It sounds like you're the one who's dreaming.

Serious, die-hard liberals will remain a small (although EXTREMELY vocal) segment of the population. And they will continue to cluster together in a select few places, which doesn't lead to victory under our federal system.

Oh, and to say that you're "color blind" but that you also "believe in diversity" is contradictory.

You can pledge your allegiance to the left all you want, and all they'll do is let you down. Today's left is not the Democrats of Jack Kennedy. Not even close. They have this militant, Hitler-esque, arrogant mentality that they make you agree with them, or else, they'll ex-communicate you. They want to take things away from you. Did you think they'd really care about you?? I don't see how you would. That party is not far from extinction, and its behavior is the very catalyst for it. You can't be sold on their style or their approach. And you don't want to be controlled by their every thought, move, word, or breath. You don't want that. And New York is in very bad shape. I'm not necessarily asking you to be a Republican, but at least, you are taking a long look at how bad Democrats have gotten. Hopefully, you are concluding that the left's way to live is no way to live. The greatest breath of fresh air which nobody talks about much is the #WalkAway movement. At least, consider that.

This has been a meme since Bush I was in office, so maybe ask yourself where the new R's are coming from?
Because you really suck at your analysis and predictions.
They're like those signs you see in bars that read "Free Beer Tomorrow!" Except they come on the internet every day and write "The Republicans Will Be Finished Tomorrow!" I guess if they write it every day you can't say that it's inaccurate.....

They are importing illegals so they don't have to care about people like you.

It would be extremely easy for the Democrats to work with someone like Trump to get things they say they want for the American people.

He would be more than willing to advocate and work for PTO and guaranteed maternity leave and for major investments in infrastructure for example.

So why haven't Democrats agreed? Because they are suffering from TDS, pure and simple and they cannot get over their hatred for them. They continue to put party and politics above country. Now, they look like the party that welcomes illegals, that welcomes depressed wages for working-class Americans and for protecting known criminal illegal aliens.

The insanity of their message is, well, insane!
