I can’t put anyone out of anything. I’ve filled out a voter registration form for myself only. I can’t make anyone do anything.

What I won’t do is beg anyone to stay in the party.

I'm a Democrat and lean left on most issues, but pandering to Hispanics through the illegal immigration issue is probably the #1 reason Hillary lost the election. Maybe the long game it plays out the other way, but that may take 15 years to see fruition..meanwhile Trump could win again.

A country has a right to control it's borders. To call everyone who supports that position a racist or xenophobe is hyperbole and bad politics. I realize that's what Hispanic groups and "one world" leftists support ....virtually open borders..... and that's why the party caters to that position. Rest assured, that was the position that turned the election to Trump.
Either you’re a believer or you’re not. If you’re not, leave. It’s that simple. I’m not begging anyone to see things the way I do. I’m not a recruiter for the Democratic Party.

And I didn’t say a damn thing about being a racist or a xenophobe. You said that.

I'm certain you'll never be a "Hannity Republican" since you've made it clear in the past how you feel about Hannity. And I know you don't like Trump.

So - what will you do at election time?

The problem is, the people who need to hear this either aren't listening or don't care. Or both. I've seen a lot of Dems leave their party. Some go Republican, some don't, but they will not vote for Dems anymore because of some of the same things you said here, plus a whole lot of other reasons. Ultimately, they feel betrayed, as you do, according to what you've written.

The left needs to stop letting the SJWs and far left speak for them. Those people are destroying the Dem party, and yet they are the smallest percent of people in this country.

Well said.

I guess I'm the opposite of you.

I don't do parties... they need to agree with me. I don't care who it is.

I also understand everyone is different and has their own standards, and those standards can evolve at any point in time. So I just take people as they are and roll with it.

Limbaugh and Hannity are purveyors of propaganda and fake news, basically one in the same.

I am willing to bet the Republicans are losing more than the Democrats and they aren't switching parties. They are going independent.

Dems don't even have Americans on their radar, only the affluent from around the world who are free to come and change America into Brazil.

Obama drove me away from the Democrat party. No reason to come back on a national basis though I'll still vote for a local Democrat.

Texas is already on its way to becoming Brazil. Their Texas sized egos only made Texas more desirable to Californians. Big cities, big houses, big highways, big everything. Dumbasses.

Trump is shrinking the Republican Party, not expanding his base, and the dominant groups within the GOP (non-college whites and religious conservatives) are older groups that have been slowly diminishing for at least twenty years.

Winning is everything. Demanding ideological purity is not a winning strategy and if you don’t win you can’t get what you want.

I'm seeing lots of folks embracing a more Libertarian stance on things. Many of liberal friends are throwing up their hands because their entire party is leaning too far to the left. They can't handle the insanity, constant hatred and muckraking.
