Nature is a helluva lot bigger than politics. It's happening regardless of what anyone thinks. We're already seeing the effects. I think it's going to be a slow bleed.

Right now, nuclear fission is the only technology that can make big cuts in carbon dioxide emissions.

There are new Small Modular Reactor (SMR) designs that are much safer than the traditional large-scale reactors: https://www.nuscalepower.com/

And China and India (almost half the planet) still DGA-.

Therefore, since I can not nor will ever even have a sliver of control over half the planet that continues to run amok, I...DO...NOT...CARE.

Everyone will care at some point. If not you, then your children and grandchildren. Economy, stock market, politics, nothing will matter.

I'm going to break it down like this for you: you are simply psychotic/delusional if you think that your recycling a few hundred pounds of cans (over your entire life) whilst every single person in China and India toss twice as much as you into the street.

You ain't doin' a d--- thing, no matter how much it makes you feel good to thumb your nose about it (not speaking about you/to you specifically, but all the pompous environmentalists who are goofy about this stuff).

You should care if you have family of any sort when you pass.

Isn't the environmentalist(s) pretty much all nihilists anyways ("nothing happens when we die") anyways?

So...we are supposed to care about this life after we're dead, even though you say we shouldn't, while you're here?

Some people care about future generations even though they don’t believe in an afterlife. Is that wrong?

"Global warming"/"climate change" is a complete hoax.

And anyone who would believe such cockamamie nonsense really are the most naive of lemmings.
