The only people who enjoy recessions are the handful of one-percenters who can use the opportunity to gobble up more businesses. For everybody else they are unpleasant, including the Democrats.
And I don't know why any Democrat would want what is in the cards. Let's say Dems do win in 2020, the economy will likely still be in the toilet by 2024. People don't understand the magnitude of what we are going into here.

Ending the trade war now might help postpone it. Rolling back Trump's tax cuts may help with the budget situation, but the damage has more than likely already been done there. Sending rates back to 0 and restarting QE is probably what is going to happen and I think this time, there will be nothing to prevent currency collapse and runaway hyperinflation.
The media has definitely proven itself to be the most immoral profession on earth.

I don't know why so many Trump supporters, acting like this administration and president is above a recession, or that they are recession proof. Presidents from both sides have experienced recessions, look what Obama had to step into, what a mess that was. But they are so worried that a real recession could have an impact on the election, and their dear leader could be voted out. So in the mean time, attack the Dems because it's all their fault.
I find MOST headlines sensationalize the article on just about every subject, so yeah, it's happening with this too.
