Oh he’s got an endless list of bad ideas, and is a complete con artist, liar, who shouldn’t have any authority within a civil society, let alone be the leader of NYC.
Deblasio is the disgraceful and disgusting face of the new left wing .... watched him interviewed on Hannity, and he is shameless. He kept dodging questions, while insisting that Hannity was using smokescreen arguments .... meanwhile, he unashamedly claims that there is plenty of money in America, though according to him, just “in the wrong hands” .... wants a 70% tax rate for the “wealthy”. He’s the self proclaimed new Robin Hood, apparently, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor... believes in at birth, unrestricted abortions, but refused to answer yes or no when asked if law abiding citizens should have the right to keep a firearm in their homes for self defense.... read: no.
It gets worse .... he believes in the New Green Deal, and wants to eliminate (through regulations and high costs) the use of glass and steel for building construction in NYC, and force current building owners to comply with regulations that will mandate the retrofit of current buildings to meet new Carbon emissions standards that will cost Billions, claiming they will make back the money over time in energy savings. When asked what he proposes as replacement for glass and steel skyscrapers... this clown says “well, I’m not an expert in building materials!! What? Then shut your mouth, and talk about something you do know something about (which should keep his mouth shut permanently).
And yes, he is another of the many progressive democrats who voted to impose fines on American citizens for not purchasing expensive health insurance, though wants to provide free health insurance to illegal aliens ... whom he refers to as “undocumented citizens” in true liberal double talk fashion.
The truth is, left solely in his hands, he would destroy NYC in months, not years. His policies would cripple NYC’s economy overnight, and convert Manhattan into East St Louis, or worse. And if his policy agenda isn’t frightening enough, his personality surely is, as he is the epitome of an ego maniacal authoritarian who is 100% convinced that he’s so much smarter than everyone else, and is completely dismissive of any opinion other than his own on EVERY SUBJECT.
Think you can have a rational and reasoned debate with clowns like him? Not a chance. When Hannity logically informed him that those “Building Owners” would not foot the bill for his mandates, but would instead pass those high costs on to tenants .... his only retort was “so, you don’t believe in climate change, huh? .... You don’t think we should save the planet from the impending disaster that is heading our way? What’s your idea for how we can save the planet from disaster, Sean?” (The classic “when did you stop beating your wife” question)
I am personally unable to explain how this clown ever got elected to any public office, let alone manage to dress himself in the morning, or brush his teeth. People who can analyze what this guy proposes and still remain a democrat voter do not need to register to vote, they need immediate, intense psychiatric care.
We humans who still possess the ability to think rationally cannot help but recognize that we seem to be living in a real world version of the “Twilight Zone”, where stone cold crazy is the new normal.
People seem to forget that Mayor de Blasio has been elected by new Yorkers twice. New Yorkers want bill's policies or they wouldn't have reelected him in 2017 with 67% of the vote. Their city; their choice.
Through their policies, democrats show you just how little being a citizen means to them. They regularly show their disdain for American citizens and yet people continue to vote for them. Go figure.
And remember....it's not just homeless who need subsidized housing. What about poor elderly living in a run-down rooming house (where you rent a single room only)? Why should illegals get an apartment that otherwise could go to them?

Because we are a society. The purpose of society includes providing a social safety net. I am sure you would rather the disabled, children without parents, people who can’t work due to illness, etc. die starving in the street, but that isn’t how a society works.

First, the illegals taking benefits intended for Americans aren't FORGING SS numbers. They're stealing them.
Second, my birth certificate has a raised seal. That would take a lot of effort to forge, I'd imagine.
Third, what about proof of NY residency since childhood (like school records from PS-whatever) and an English proficiency test? That would at least eliminate illegals who are here less than ten years and/or those who refuse to learn the common language.

Please point out to us those times in the past .... prior to all of the socialist cradle to grave welfare programs that are bankrupting the middle class .... when people were “starving in the streets”? Never happened!
What has been created is not a social safety net, but an ever growing segment of the population that are “generational dependents”, otherwise known as the democrat base. However, given the failure to deliver on decades of promises, the democrats are seeing an exodus of that base, which explains their new embrace of illegals, and prioritizing their interests over the American citizens.
The elimination of poverty in the United States would result in the virtual elimination of the democrat party, which explains why we see the extreme degradation in liberal run cities across the country. Poverty is viewed as the democrat’s best friend, while prosperity is the enemy.

Illegal aliens can't join our military so no, they haven't fought in our wars.
