Because education for all benefits us all.

Slavery is when a life is spent for another with no benefit returned to the person.

When some kid raised in a slum grows up to be a brain surgeon like Dr. Ben Carson did, lots of folks benefit. He saved their lives, the greatest benefit of all.

When some poor kid who makes it through high school and is admitted to a regular little old unexceptional state college, and finds a life that is a couple of notches better than his parents', that's a benefit too.

For him, his folks, his own family, and ultimately, for me. I won't have to ever pay for that kid's welfare, or for his parent's welfare, or for that kid's wife and his children. He'll take care of all that with no need for my help.

But I could well use his help someday, even if he never needs mine. A successful person is a more generous person in all things. Education generates generosity. We all need a little help now and then. Be generous, and it always comes back.

US private higher education institution share of students is below the global average and "Asia" (that is all of Asia not just China) is above. The global private share is apparently growing.

Yeah, and when he gets China, let him start running his mouth about his political grievances. Watch what happens.

OP is an idiot.

Perhaps they should move to parts of the country with great public schools like the midwest.

What about the US? Poverty in the US means having last year’s iPhone.

Yes, i am exaggerating. But not by much.
Look at people living on Skid Row and tell them that. People living in garbage and feces in the streets being eaten alive by rats and dying of medieval diseases.

Sure, they're just spoiled brats who demand the latest iPhone.

Come on. That is a laughable comparison. Homeless make up 0.17% of the US population. And many of them are where they are because of mental illness, not inability to compete in the economy.

Incorrect

Know what things? The requirements to enter the military? Go to college?

But they are limited in availability to go to school, only so many seats available, despite your hype, most of Asia lacks higher education, they actually trail far behind the US in higher education obtainment, something like 30% behind.

Most of the US school system is gov operated.

The US gives more than a fair shot, it gives an advantage to those who take a little effort to get it. This is why we stand at around 35% of those in the US has a bachelor's, while only 5% or so in China.

No one is taking any best jobs, lol.

You make no sense, most of the school system in the US is gov ran, which by definition is socialist. Most students go to the public school system.

They did not offer me any tests on my BMI because they wanted to get rid of me

Later on working in public safety i encountered MANY former military guys and found out that 1993 was a major draw down year

they were trying to get rid of people not create education opportunitys

the u.s. has a bunch of crappy under funded public education that they are rapidly privatizing

Asia has a socialist education policy for all who can earn admission based on their scores

everybody in Asia gets an equal shot at education

it's not just a pedigree program for the wealthy

that's why they are taking all the best American jobs

Asia takes the exact opposite approach...

99 percent of their higher education is controlled funded and administered by the government who is beholden to the peoples Democratic vote!

"In mainland China, nearly all universities and research institutions are public and currently, all important and significant centers for higher education in the country are publicly administered"

"In India, most universities and nearly all research institutions are public. There are some private undergraduate colleges, mostly engineering schools, but a majority of these are affiliated to public universities. Some of these private schools are also partially aided by the national or state governments. India also has an "open" public university, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), which mostly offers distance education, and in terms of the number of enrolled students is now the largest university in the world with over 4 million students."

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_university

America is being taken over by for-profit interests because the corporations have taken charge via government bribery

The corporations don't want you to have high quality government services they want you to pay them a premium for them while they siphon off your tax dollars

once the corporations have access to your tax dollars they will bleed you dry.

American corporate education is bribing our lawmakers to keep free public education out.

They don't care about America's future they just want Americans go get big loans and give them all the money...

The only thing better (for the education corporations) would be the "school choice" scenario where private schools literally have access to our tax dollars however don't have to worry about the Democratic vote

Blackwater (mercenary proprietor) proprietor eric prince's sister (ditzy betsy devos) has been put in command of education via fake president trump

#HOSTILE corporate takeover USA#

This is not pro socialism
This is anti CORPORATE BRIBE of our government...

I will at least agree that our public educations system is substandard for most of the USA and needs drastic changes and improvement. However, even in many of these horrible schools, Asians succeed through hard work and discipline.

Asians are successful in the USA because of how dedicated to education they are combined with a high average IQ and discipline. In many cases, they set an example which we should follow.

I'm not sure the USA multi ethnic and racial culture can successfully implement a system that China and India have with their mostly single racial group. By the way, I've lived in China and enjoyed it but we are doing okay compared to the Chinese all things considered and considerably better than the India people on average.
