To all the Trump apologists--can you answer a question please?

When you are getting ready to go out for the day and it might be bad weather, do you check today's forecast or last week's?

And, to reiterate--this all would have gone away after the NHC corrrected him had Trump not dredged it up 5 times a day since, as well as pulling that stupid lying stunt with the sharpie.

Yep, or banning us from going to Cuba simply because Obama opened it up, and Trump wanted to wipe out anything Obama did.

Trump DOCTORED UP A HURRICANE MAP WITH A SHARPIE and you conservative twits think the media is the problem here?

The problem here is the guy who has to get on TV with fake maps to prove a completely irrelevant point he should never have gotten involved with in the first place - and the brainless followers who excuse his obviously deranged behavior.

Hey, maybe this will keep him too busy to pull those funds out of the military for his wall.
I fully believe that if Trump came out in support of Flat Earth, his supporters would suddenly start searching for the edge of the planet.

Neither the President nor any other person in the country is limited to relying on data solely from the NHC. Do you seriously think the President and the people around him weren't looking at the data and thinking about what might happen like everyone else who was interested in the storm?

In fact, most people who need to know about a storm are watching local weather for their interpretation of whatever is coming out of NHC.

From what we know now, the President was briefed by multiple agencies and apparently had a Coastie as his primary briefing person who was onsite over the weekend.

Why he didn't have the exact updated info before he spoke is a legitimate question.

However the press is too busy mocking him to do their job and find that out.

I think this is the first president who ever tried to fool, and believed he could fool, the entire nation with a kindergarten drawing! He truly thinks we are as gullible and naive as he is.

We are in serious South Park territory here. The jokes are writing themselves. And so are the campaign ads.

Not the same.

When I have been told for days a monster storm is coming my way and may turn or not turn, I look at all the possibilities.

The NHC is the only organization that interprets model data and makes track forecasts, though. They are literally the experts. Who or what would Trump be looking to other than the NHC or NOAA for that kind of information? We know neither of those told Trump it would affect Alabama. And local weather gets their information from the NHC when it comes to hurricanes. You really think your typical local-station weatherman, who may not even have a basic degree in meteorology, is going to know more than the NHC? This argument is dumb and insulting the intelligence of everyone. Stop. Just admit Trump was wrong.

Clearly, considering some of the defenses being put out there, that there are plenty of people gullible enough to believe him. It's the same kind of fact-denying, anti-science, anti-expert drivel that permeates all of Trumpism.
