This is the problem with Trump, he wants that special moment like stepping over the NK DMZ, but these negotiations are complicated and take time. Based on the Taliban's behavior the last few months they have no interest, this was way premature for a Camp David meeting.

You can just imagine the exploding heads from the right, had Obama talked about meeting and talking with the Taliban, let alone meeting them here on the homeland. This forum would have gone bonkers.
