The wealthier the movers are using United Van Lines, the more tax receipts the Lib states are losing, and future commerce. These Lib states are losing Billions in tax revenues annualy from those leaving. They take their wealth, & sometimes their companies with them, & employees, family, and friends too.
When a guy like Elon Musk takes Tesla out of California, the long term tax impact is in the billions.
Yes. Oddly enough, wealthy retirees move to cheaper areas since they are no longer tied to the evilsocialist cities with the good paying jobs. That’s been going on since retirement was a thing. For every retiree who leaves NY or CA, there is at least one young college grad to replace them.
I’ll ask you again: if there really is a mass exodus from blue areas, then why are blue areas so darned expensive? I’d love to live on the West Coast or the Northeast, but I’ll never be able to afford it.

Mostly its the weather. Do you get any snowbirds there? Summers are perfect up that way, nice scenery, and low cost of living. Libs are scared to death of gun racks on pick-ups though, so maybe that explains it...which gives me a great idea we could try here in Florida
No way with snow depth of 4" and temp at 17. Liberals from California down south in Austin are roughing it with temp at only 26 there.

It's about property values plummeting in Cali. One poster claimed ALL property values in Cali were increasing, and I had to remind him of the caving cliffs in Malibu. Those Liberals are likely leaving after their million dollar homes sunk into the Pacific Ocean. I heard the Lib gov't there are still sending them property tax bills, even though there's no property left.
No wonder why millions are fleeing Lib states.

You are wrong, so your wish has come true. NY and CA have been losing residents by the millions for decades...more residents moving out of these 2 states, than U.S. residents of other states are moving into NY & CA.
Would you agree that the U.S. Census is a good source of data regarding domestic migration? If so:
from mid '20 to mid '21 352,000 MORE New Yorkers moved out, than U.S. residents moved into NY....in just 1 year! That's more people than Buffalo + Albany combined!
So, for every retiree leaving NY there is not 1 young college grad to replace them, & it hasn't been that way since prior to 1970!
Cali's even worse than NY, cali lost a net of 367,000 residents during the same time frame mid '20-mid '21...in just 1 year, which is more people than the population of Anaheim!:
If you tally up the net losses for each state since 1970, each state has most Millions of residents to other states, & less moved in...by the MILLIONS....each state...MILLIONS in net domestic population losses.
This is why Dems are importing illegals from Mexico, then flying/busing them into Blue states...to try to replace the millions of U.S. residents that have left Blue states like NY & CA. The Dems are desperately trying to retain their Congressional seats, but they are fighting a losing battle
U.S. residents of Blue states are fleeing faster than Dem politicians can bus Mexicans in.
