I'm surprised Maryland isn't on the list of most abandoned states. I got out in 2020. It's possible that all that's left in Maryland is brain dead liberals.

You ignored that purposely I'd bet.
It's just too painful for some to face what is happening. They know what comes next....massive tax hikes.

Deflecting from these top 7, to the 2nd tier, might provide them some temporary comfort, but when the tolls, fees, & taxes go up, the reality sets in.

Can you imagine how many Congressonal seats will shift when the next census is taken?

Sounds like these people are relocating for jobs. The jobs left first, then the people follow. I doubt they are leaving for ideological reasons. The political aspect is that failed policies drove businesses to leave in the first place.

The survey says they leave for family and jobs. I agree with you, the family and jobs left due to the political fallout of high taxes, & high cost of living. This generation is just following the jobs and family who left for the real reasons that are so obvious.

This is a family that left California for ideological reasons not jobs.

If that's accurate blue states wouldn't be getting bluer(Maryland, NY, CA, etc) and red states wouldn't be getting redder(TN, ID, FL, etc.)
