Not going to happen. Even w/ people that were open to some gun laws, you went and ruined it with covid and other heavy handed attacks on them.
You cannot be trusted.

You're out of your mind. Number 22 alone would prevent 90% of Americans from owning a gun. And all of your proposals except no. 24 are flagrantly illegal.

Our Bill of Rights was written the way it was for a reason. They knew then who the most likely, biggest threat would always and forever be, so they created a bunch of rules to not let them get too powerful or at least too comfy in that power.

Give up your absolute natural right to keep and bear arms, and every other right comes next, only by then, they'll just take it without worrying too much about you fighting back.

While I don't disagree at all with the general sentiment of your post , IMHO the key to stopping tyranny is not allowing the right to bear arms ( which should be allowed irrespective of this issue as well ) but allowing the right of revolution ( https://www.encyclopedia.com/politic...ght-revolution ) which is obviously worth nothing if people don't exercise it when they have to .

After all in spite of widespread civilian firearms ownership in the States , there really haven't been any significant grassroots uprisings against the federal government ( unless you count the Civil War of course ) throughout history , in spite of the fact that the Feds have encroached on the rights of the American people time and time again .

In short the mentality of " the law must be followed because it's the law " is the true Achilles heel of individual liberty Stateside .

Im against all gun laws...but even I know our gun laws are not stopping tyranny in any way! That is laughable actually. Law enforcement, the military, Govt has TOTAL control over us, so what if a percentage of citizens own some firearms? (if they are not willing to use it against the tyrants, or use them in an effort to stop tyranny)...what good is the right to bear arms?

Lots of people claim to be patriotic 2nd Amendment supporters, but in reality, they obey the gun laws to a T, if the govt creates a new gun law, they will comply with that as well!

I got some news for you patriotic types...tyranny is already here and its been successful in many ways. Citizens ALLOWED this to happen, (even though we have the 2nd Amendment), Go figure? Lets see a large group of citizens attempt to 'stop govt tyranny'...The military will make short work of you with your semi autos and hunting rifles! (The military will bring FULL AUTOMATICS, min guns, gatling guns, etc)...guns that citizens are not allowed to possess btw. LOL

Lets see how patriotic people are, when there is a risk of ending up in handcuffs, imprisoned, and loosing their freedom, their jobs, family, friends! Its getting tiresome hearing people talk about defending the 2nd Amendment...we have not defended our rights in the least...EVERY TIME the govt creates a new gun law, or any law for that matter...WE OBEY AND COMPLY 100%.

The 2nd amendment is not to be taken literally. Are you in a militia?

Can you point out where in the 2nd amendment or the Bill of Rights where it's says that "it's not to be taken literally"?

The point is that the 2nd amendment didn't exclude these types of arms.

Indeed, private citizens owned artillery and battleships.

Implying that the Founders couldn't foresee advances in weapons technology is disingenuous at best because they had seen advances in weaponry of it during and before their lifetimes.

It is illogical to think that they wouldn't assume that it would continue to advance

Why not re-ban assault rifles? It worked before.

No such thing as reasonable gun laws, only reasonable mental health laws.

Criminals don't follow laws the prevent them from comitting crime.
