No disrespect meant, but you are completely wrong with your assessment on the current status of the economy. The markets will take another hit this week due to the negative numbers that will be coming out today AND there is NOTHING good about those numbers either.

And yes, the economy WILL be a major issue in this coming November since the third quarter numbers will as bad as today’s second quarter numbers.

Reality and wishful thinking are two totally different concepts when dealing with the facts. Also, simply saying something doesn’t mean it’s true, especially if there are no cold hard facts to back it up. As an example, using a current topic… Biological males CANNOT give birth to a human baby, which is a scientific FACT and saying anything differently is nothing more than wishful thinking.

Using current polling numbers from NYT and WaPo, the economy is the number 1 concerns of Americans, followed by the cost of fuel, exploding violence in our cities and broken immigration system. So!! Based on these facts, the democrats know that this November is not going to be pretty for them.

But hey, you do you!!

It's baffling.

They are going to get WIPED out in November. Just utterly wiped out.
they're 'addressing' the economy by frantically trying to spend even more money to push it right over the edge

Experts say a new package could include around $1 trillion in new spending — about half the size of what stalled last year — with a focus on health care costs and energy

Exactly. I’m way more worried about the plight of indigenous gay transgender women who are impacted by climate change than whether or not I can afford to commute to work due to the price of gas.

Joe Biden and Democrats definitely have a thumb on the pulse of America and are tirelessly working to resolve these issues!

The economy is only for "rich" people.

The government will take care of everyone else.

I feel the dog and pony show are specifically designed to divert our attention away from the 2 most important issues facing America: the escalating war in Europe and the imploding economy.
The incompetence is such, that it has to be deliberate; some utopian pipe dream.
They really do think we're all stupid.

its possible to do more than 1 thing at a time.

Do you want them to hold hearing on the economy?

More than likely you just want them to stop talking about Jan 6 and Roe because it puts the GOP on the defense.

Thanks Supreme Court, you may have turned a red wave into a ripple

Could care less about either one. Talk about it all you want. The more the left focuses on those, and not the issues that are actually hurting struggling American's, the more people will start to see the Democrats aren't for everyone.

We should never have had the 2021 speculative frenzy that came from all the printing. Now we have to deal with the withdraw symptoms of being addicted to a drug, which is going to be some discomfort.

The vast majority of the worst of it has already happened though... we've already had the stagflationary event that resulted in a jump in consumer prices and interest rates combined with some softer asset prices and the popping of the mid cap zombie company bubble. You also have the crypto bubble popping fueling the pop in Nvidia who spent 2 years funneling cards to miners at inflated prices enhancing their EPS considerably, along with related companies like SQ (Block) COIN (Coinbase) and others.

The BBBY and NVDA chart basically shows where the heroin high was. Now in a healthy society we go back to making money by producing things of value again, not manipulating numbers on a computer screen, and we begin to normalize after the withdraw symptoms subside. We shall see if the government and Federal Reserve give us some more monetary heroin or not.

I don't really see this as being either party's fault... it's both their fault, including Trump, who spent too much money himself.

Just remember the numbers are for last month. Lagging behind the markets.
