Take your "Mom I'm trans" kid, remove their devices, take them to the mountains for three months with no internet, no friends and no contact with the outside world and that "trans" kid will suddenly not be trans again. Like magic.

Girls do this a lot because they don't get the same stigmas a boy will get for it and they can always(and almost always do) change their minds later so long as they don't take any puberty blockers. So yeah, it's a fad. Something that they're told is stunning and brave that they can explore and then reject with little to no repercussions. The parents and teachers who want to offer hormone suppressors to these kids so they can make their confused explorations physically permanent are the real freaks here. The kids themselves are just being misled and trying to navigate a culture that has been deliberately debauched and degraded by people with disturbing motives.

Many of the trans kids are white, often men. In recent years, the group that gets hit the most for being the oppressor/privilege is whites, namely men. So that group has learned to hate themselves, and to feel guilty about their privilege.
But along comes the trans movement, where you can now become the victim, in spite of being one of the oppressor class. Instant sympathy, and you are no longer hated because of your privilege.

you seem to be correct based on what i have personally seen in the excrement-show that middle school is. and these girls 10-15 are constantly watching China owned tiktok where these liberal 18-22 year old white emo girls make tiktoks on transgenderism, pronoun use, and other conditions that render young folks “special and unique” so they can garner attention and fake internet points. younger, impressionable minds soak it all up and it becomes their reality. liberal adults reinforce this reality for the sake of being the tolerant friend of the youth and that cements it in place as an authentic condition.
This road eventually leads to the acceptance and normalization of pedophilia.
