Except one thing. No one is making Black Americans vote this way. It's not a dictatorship. Maybe instead of constantly harping on Blacks regarding their voting patterns, maybe consider what the GOP could do to get more Black Americans to WANT TO vote for Republicans. And please, do not even talk about "free stuff" , because most Blacks aren't looking for that. Someone else made a comment about "gift cards". No snide remarks either.
Sorry but I suspect that will happen in low voter turnout areas. Why should these voters feel obligated to support the Dems? But offer a gift card and the door might not shut so fast.
Like it or not the Dem leadership very much need their vote esp. if the Rep. continues to make gains with Hispanics/Asians.
But what about low turnout in predominately Rep. areas? Won't Rep have to offer something? Maybe.
2024 will be the first election the Rep. go all in on ballot harvesting or at least I hope they do. Because if they don't... they will lose. 2020 changed the way this country votes.
Banking your votes as early and chasing votes in low turnout districts is the name of the game.

And I think you're wrong. I don't see either political party offering gift cards for voting, not in Presidential elections.
She doesn't represent most Black people. She just represented who was willing to get in front of a camera. You see, posts like this exemplify with some Blacks view the GOP the way they do. Alot of Black voters (especially middle and upper class Blacks) aren't even thinking about "free stuff". However, accusing Black people of voting Democrat because "the Democrats offer free stuff" is only going to make many Blacks stay away from the GOP.
If one is tired of the perception of conservatives being anti-Black, posts like this do not help at all. If you want more Black people to vote Republican, you're not creating a positive reception with posts like this. Stuff like this will just give more people excuses to see the Republican Party as not liking Black people.
I did. I saw alot of articles talking about Black men. One article talked about 1/3 of registered Black males not voting. Another article talked about Black men being given misinformation. Another article briefly mentioned that Black men are perceived in mostly negative ways. It haven't found anything mentioning Stacey Abrams being a hater of men.
All you get is articles that talk about black men voting for the GOP at a larger margin than black women, but that is true of the entire country.
Can you actually name something specific you can claim she did ?

I didn't call her a "hater of men."
But, you know, Kemp can't be called a "hater of black people" for anything he explicitly said about black people, either. But if you know from his campaign rhetoric that Kemp closely hews the right-wing conservative line, and that right-wing conservatism is anti-black...then as a black man you know what to think about Kemp.
If you know from her campaign rhetoric that Stacey Abrams closely hews the Radical Feminist line and that Radical Feminism is anti-male...than as a black man you know what to think about Abrams.
There was some fire under that smoke.
