Ofcourse he would deny it.

The fact remains, he's not beating Trump. And the inside sources who leaked it to the media know that.

Two well-acquainted sources within the DeSantis campaign, a significant donor and a high-ranking political operative, told The Hill that if the Florida Governor loses to former President Donald Trump on January 15, he is likely to withdraw from the race altogether.

"I had heard"

Don't pass along rumors.

Wait until you have the FACTS before giving your opinions.

no one ever claimed he was beating trump, so that's a very strange fact to try to make. no leak was necessary.

do you honestly believe he's going to end his campaign next week?

Some people were pretty hardcore for Barack Obama but the overwhelming majority of Democrats saw him as the preferable option in a race between him and John McCain. That's all it was. As for the 2008 primaries, he simply ran a better campaign than Hillary Clinton did.

It's not rocket science. And there is no comparison between Barack Obama's fans (as opposed to supporters) and the quasi-religious cult of personality that has developed around Donald Trump.

Trump and DeSantis are both horrible people. Not surprised one would endorse the other.

His puritanical, holier-than-Thou schtick was a flop. Good riddance.

Was that concerning pornography in school libraries? Or a private company receiving corporate welfare from the state speaking out against making it illegal to speak with kindergarteners about sex? I don't think either one were "schtick's".

It's a shame, I'd have enjoyed him being utterly humiliated in every subsequent debate. I said at the start his thing might work in Florida, but on the national level it just wont work.

Why is DeSantis a horrible person? What is about him or his policies that make him 'horrible'? Share...

If this is true, that's too bad. DeSantis can beat Biden in November. Trump cannot. Ridiculous choice for the GOP.
