They wouldn't be leaving because of Trump. They would be leaving because they wouldn't want to be politically persecuted and be fined huge amounts and/or lose their businesses because of eager AG's and judge's. Democrats have made it easy for that to happen.
Pretty wishful thinking, Trump supporters use that reasoning regularly. If they can do this to Trump they can this to anyone. A few who might be guilty of repetitive fraud might leave, who cares. Trump isn’t the only one with a fraud problem but like his father it is an art form in the family.
It’s called consequences of action. Companies and high income individuals have been getting out of NY for awhile now.
My employer has employees in 13 states. One employee relocated from NY to one of the other states. From a business compliance standpoint, NY is far worse than all of the other states combined, even with CA in the mix. I am always encouraging my higher ups to never hire anyone in NYS. Another source for opinions on NYS from an employer perspective is Louis Rossman. He has numerous videos on YouTube calling out NY as a hellish nightmare for businesses.
The tax collectors in NY state and NYC already doing a great job in getting people to leave as is the progressive DA. The Trump 'verdict' won't help but even woke cities couldn't cancel unwoke cities & states.
