Corporations based in New York could be headed for the exits, after seeing the Trump biz verdict.

New York has already lost >50% of its Fortune 500's, but this verdict could cause many of the rest to leave New York too.

This verdict, sets the tone for a toxic business environment in NY, which the Fortune 500 hates, & fears.

Also, work-from-home means Fortune 500's can hire a workforce that is disbursed geographically, and no longer require large office spaces so common to New York. This trend is already hurting New York City's small businesses that cater to the urban work force.

Office space occupancy is cratering in NYC, & this verdict will amplify that trend.

I predict this verdict will expedite the exodus of big corp jobs leaving New York.

Trump will just move his empire to Florida, like others have already done...and many more will follow suit.

NY Libs have won the battle, but lost the war.

Hey! All those fancy office suites in the New York skyscrapers would be a GREAT place to house the illegal immigrants that are flooding into our country! Yep, NYC is the PERFECT place to send them!

The Detroitification of various far left cities marches on... Libs won't settle until all of America looks like Detroit.

A partisan banana republic is not a healthy or safe business environment. Any company not 100% in lockstep with EVERY stance of the extreme left needs to flee blue states as quickly as possible.

They've shown that they'll completely destroy the entire system to go after perceived political rivals. It's simply not safe to risk it anymore.

If you vote the right way, you have nothing to fear. Thats how it works in a banana republic.

Leftists “got Trump”, and are still trying to “get Trump”, but at what cost?

I don’t see any way how this house of cards, masquerading as a country, can continue as is.

Businesses in NYC are not going to do a sudden exodus because the ex-P got caught breaking laws that have existed for *decades*. This is his and his company's doing. He conducted business knowing the rules and laws. This is a guy who's been involved in 4,000+ lawsuits over 5 decades. A long, long history of fraudulent activities. Source

Legal experts analyzed what they called "breathtaking" civil penalties against former President Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, former Trump Organization Comptroller Jeffrey McConney and ex-CFO Allen Weisselberg – warning other corporations based in the Empire State may realize they could suddenly be put out of business by the state on a political whim.

"[Y]ou just say goodbye to New York, which fits a pattern that many successful people have been doing and leaving New York because New York is just too political, too blue and too punitive – you're seeing that in the business community and among upper income New Yorkers already," he said – adding the state's crime wave accentuates the issue.

Yeah and all those Trump Haters would be happy to turn Trump tower into "migrant" housing.

Trump should pack up and leave NYC. It is clear that they do not want him there.

I'd be nervous if I lived in NY after this ruling. I work in Real Estate and have given estimates of value based on the current market but I would really be risking everything IF one of the banks actually used my estimate like an appraisal.

The same goes for trading in a car. Imagine telling the dealer that your car is worth $10,000 and he sets up the deal according to that estimate but then when you tow in your wreck to trade it in for the new car it is only worth $2000. According to the DA you just committed fraud and even if the car dealer refuses to pay you the $10,000 they originally okayed YOU could be fined!

After this stupid Ruling Trump should leave the state because they might just charge him with Murder next. They could find him guilty even though no one died.....

That's the entire case.

The loans taken were paid back with interest, the bank was satisfied and said they'd gladly do the loans again....the state disagrees....because they are corrupt Democrats.
As has been stated, there is no victim in this case.
Trump will win on appeal.
