There were no facts presented in that post, just a claim by some random internet poster.

Just remember, if you plea deal felonies to misdemeanors and refuse to prosecute certain crimes *poof* less crime. Then people don't report them and *poof* even less crime.

But long story short, either you and some others are gaslighting or Hochul is making up a non-existant problem.

Yep makes total sense...
Fox News has done a good job scaring people, they can't play those clips in the subway enough it takes up most of their day.

This is mostly to address public perception but it seems like an overreaction. It could have the opposite effect.

You would have to ask those who commit crimes, seems that type of silence has been around since the earliest Mafia days of the 19th century. You could also asked Republican Controlled inner cities if you can identify more than the 1 or 2 that I am aware of....

The far right makes the allegation of $0 budgets. What cities were slashed and now have high crime as you state?

I think this is what the democrats want. They want to defund the local police and make it nationalized. It’s much easier to control local population and dissidents when you have a national police takes direct order from DC
Much easier to claim martial law as well.

A Classic, might just spend the afternoon watching it, and perhaps Escape From New York. Snake knew how to get it done.

Right, Because cracking down on crime usually ends up increasing crime. Seriously, where does this logic come from? There is no logic. According to the left if we are nice and understanding of criminals they will stop committing crimes?

Lets ask these guys:

2 migrants who stomped and kicked NYPD officers in vicious Times Square attack yet to be arrested

Nothing says "pro-police" like assaulting an officer while others watch.

Goodluck. That refusal will give them probable cause to detain you.

A detainment is when law enforcement holds an individual for a short time. Detentions can occur in various contexts, including traffic stops or street encounters. If police detain you, they believe you committed a crime, but they don't have enough evidence to arrest you
