i get you, but since a civil union is not exactly equal to a marriage, why not extend marriage rights? why would a marraige be defined by man and woman... in a secualr society? better, lets make a civil union equal to marrirage. that will solve the problems. after all seperate but equal is impossible.
it all comes down to having the same rights as everyone esle. if that is attained by extending marriage to the gays, then do it. civil unions fall short of that.
these people actualy need more pretection as their rights seem to be violated quite a bit for no other reason than being who they are.
its sad that the guy here has to be more vigilant than the rest of his neighbors. imagine the psyhchological damage that does to a person...
Hate Crime? I would think it is a vandalism crime and that is it. I dont care what your writing destroying personal property is protected in the constitution. If they try to destroy your property call the police and or shoot the bastards. Invest in a high powered rifle bb gun if you dont want to kill them they will get the hint.
