Well, I hope you write something equally rep-worthy soon so I can return the favor. Just kidding.
But, the next morning, Nagourney awoke to an e-mail from Talking Points Memo writer Greg Sargent asking him to comment on an eight-point rebuttal trashing his piece that the Obama campaign had released to reporters and bloggers like The Atlantic's Marc Ambinder and Politico's Ben Smith.
Hmmm. Talking points? Or something else?

End of the Affair

The point is that Fox News constantly maintains that they strive for journalistic objectivity, when they most most certainly do not. Their primetime propagandists (O'Reilly, Hannity, etc), who pretend to have original and/or independently-formulated ideas, routinely receive and regurgitate literal talking points sent directly from the White House and the Bush administration.

Yes, many journalists/networks/tv stations/media are sent (and use) material from various politicians, administrations, etc. However, the difference between what Fox does and what other news sources do, is that other news sources generally DO NOT attempt to cover up literal regurgitation of White House-fed propaganda by insisting that they are "fair and balanced" when they know full well that they are not. Fox DOES exactly that. Other news sources typically introduce information sent to them from political figures/parties/campaigns/administrations/etc as being such...information that they received from xxx. Then the news outlet reports its own opinions and ideas related to the material. Fox News, on the other hand, claims that they are reporting their own original, independently-formulated material, when, in truth, they are simply acting as the dummies to the White House ventriloquists.

So, in fact, Fox News is a bunch of loud-mouthed liars and frauds who regularly receive scripted material straight from Buchco, even though Fox News constantly insists that they strive to maintain journalistic integrity.

You're either very naive or just plain ignorant of the fact that the dems do it as well. They have a whole network set up to generate and send "news' down the line, from bloggers, to left-wing sites, to the campaigns, to congress.

Did you miss Harry Reid in his frustration yesterday/today asking the left-wing bloggers to get the dems message out about the "drilling" issue?

Reid Reaches Out To Liberal Bloggers For Help, By Martin Kady II - CBS News

They are all connected to get the message or "talking points" out.

Just because Fox, or any other org for that matter, receives "info bursts" from various political entities does mean they taylor their News around the message.

In fact obermann on MSNBC is in league with those liberal bloggers/websites - how do you think the CBS non-story created such a wildfire on the net.

I hate to say it but yes they all do it. Then the networks wonder why the news shows aren't watched a third as much as they used to be. If we had true journalists again, we wouldn't have to watch the BBC and check the news from other nations.

Remember the slimy Republican hypocrite Mark Foley (R-FL)? Someone here reminded us the other day that Fox Noos, covering Foley during his scandal moment, in two segments at three different opportunities, made sure to label Foley "D-FL."

YouTube - Fox News Blatant Distortion of News on Mark Foley.

Meanwhile God bless truth, justice, and News Hounds: We watch FOX so you don't have to.

They're busy day and night as you can imagine.

So, is the point - Fox News has been exposed for doing something contrary to it's claim or that all news agencies do this and Fox news is as culpable as the others?
