Okay, so I lean more towards Libertarian views, but I almost always vote Democrat - and never Republican, LOL.

Default How hypocritical can you be?

OK, here's some more intellectual honesty. For my entire life I've been told that whites discriminate against blacks and this is the sole reason they fail to achieve. Personal choices, poor academic performance and lower test scores have little or nothing to do with the failure of large groups of blacks to land great jobs. Nope, it's just lots and lots of white racism.

To remedy this we impose sanctions on white males. No other group is penalized, just white males. Actually, that's inaccurate because middle class and wealthy white males are largely unaffected by affirmative action because they are well enough off and well enough connected that the policy doesn't really change their circumstances. Poor white males on the other hand desperately need these opportunities that are being denied to them.

So what happens in real life? The more well to do and better connected white males get in regardless of the policies because they are better educated and more likely to know people. But looking at the raw data, the nice folks at the EEOC discover that the program isn't having the effects that were hoped for. So they turn blind eye to the ridiculous subdividing of job categories that has the effect of creating more opportunities for non-white males further excluding the one group to carry this burden of reverse discrimination, poor white males.

Now, for the first time in our history, we have a presidential candidate who meets the minimum standards, kinda (Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton don't count). So we white racist line up to vote for this mostly unqualified first-term Senator with a thin resume. But he wasn't discriminated against by the white voters. In fact he received support from whites that would have never, ever gone to a Caucasian candidate with a similar background. In fact we shoved aside a more qualified war hero to vote for someone with an anti-white racist preacher. So much for white racism.

But the left will always point to the past and say "See! The blacks didn't succeed. Therefore whites discriminated against them." No further evidence is needed. It has nothing to do with dysfunction in the black households or communities. It has nothing to do with whites working harder in school or on the job to get ahead.

So now what liberals? We proved that white racism is a myth by electing BHO. May I please have a job in corporate America now? May I please have equal consideration for a SBA loan? May I please be allowed to have a normal conversation at work again without having what I say construed to mean something that I didn't say and didn't intend thereby resulting in termination and possibly a lawsuit (MacKenzie v. Miller Brewing Co.).

But we haven't seen the last of anti-white hatred from the Democrats. Black dysfunction is still around and black students still fall behind white students. Democrats need to continue to perpetuate the myth of white racism in order to avoid the ugly truth. Blacks don't perform as well as whites. Forty years of penalizing poor whites, many of whom grew up in trailer parks like me (Holiday West, Belleville, MI), hasn't changed that. Even the people who support the U of M Law School affirmative action program admit that if the program ended blacks would never be able to get in.

How hypocritical can you be?

It would be one thing if the last every single democratic president before Obama has been white, and now the democratic party is anti-white?

You do realize that if a lot of whites in this country didn't vote for Obama he would NOT have been elected?

You're missing the point. The Democratic party is an anti-white anti-male organization. The American public, to include white males, is not racist or sexist, but that doesn't change the fact that the Democratic Party is racist. They need to blame white males for the short-commings of blacks in order to continue affirmative action and corporate shakedowns.

Don't take this that wrong way, but you sure are gullible. Their is nothing new that doesn't exist solely in the minds of the uninitiated. What we are seeing now is our new PE backpedaling on his campaign promises in predictable fashion. Why? Because the things he promised either cannot be delivered or have been tried in the past with terrible consequences. Don't feel bad, because a lot of other people got sucked in too. What our new PE did was make good use of the most effective sales pitch in history, that being "it's new and improved". He shortened it up by calling it "change", but it means exactly the same thing. The reason it is more effective that any other sales pitch by far is that it incorporates the potential customer's dissatisfaction with the current product (Bush) and ability to fantasize about how great things could be (Obama). In short, it utilizes self-deception because you want what is being said to be true so much that you suspend your higher brain functions.

YouTube - Sham Wow / Sham Scam - Boycott Watch exposes the truth.

Right now PE Obama is taking everything he promised off the table. "Look closely".

So much for intellectual honesty. Didn't make it past the second sentence. What you've been told all your life is that discrimination has long existed and that it ought to be ended. Looks like you don't agree with either one.

Only in the eyes of narrow-minded, short-sighted, white-male supremacists. Being a white dude gets you to the starting line, just like everybody else. There's nothing special about you. Turn a page. Get your head out of the sand. Whining about actually having to make your own way isn't going to get you anywhere any more...

No, right now right-wing fuzz-heads who were claiming before the election that Obama hadn't promised anything more than change -- no plans, no programs, no specifics -- are going around claiming that all those things he didn't actually promise are somehow being scaled back. This is because so many right-wing fuzz-heads are incapable of focusing on anything more complex than the manufactured meme of the day...

momonkey why doesn't it surprise me that you are from Michigan? The most racist people I have ever met are from your state.
By the way Barack Obama is not a canidate but President Elect and how is he unqualified? The man is a Constitutional Law professor at Harvard whereas McCain barely made it into the Naval Academy graduating at the bottom of his class.
I hate to burst your bubble but the last time we had a seriously intellectual President was Kennedy, not Reagan, not Bush Sr. and not even Clinton and don't even bring up Dubya.

Look, if you can't come up with an intelligent response, please don't resort to name calling. Try it again. But this time comment on what was actually said in my post about how people who voted for "change" have been deceived. Take as much time as you need.
