Sorry, I don't do the states (unless I really have to).
Then what the hell are you doing on this forum, then? Just here to complain?

Default JULY 4TH: Are You Coming To A Tea Party

Here's a webpage that will list some of the Tea Parties for July 4th.
Official Tax Day TEA Party, July 4th, 2009 I'm sure there will be other websites listing these "Freedom of Speech Celebrations."

I'm thinking of attending the Tea Party in Washington DC on July 4th.

Be prepared for the medias and the Wild-Left's insults. They hate anyone but them using their Free Speech.

Default Here's a great video showing a April 15th Tea Party.

Here's a great video showing a April 15th Tea Party.

VIDEO: Together We Stand

YouTube - Together We Stand

On April 15, something amazing happened: hundreds of thousands of people throughout the country stood together at Tax Day Tea Parties to send a clear signal to Washington politicians to stop wasting our hard-earned tax dollars.

I've got more important things to do that day, like hang out w/friends, grill out, maybe go up north & kayak or go out on the boat. Enjoy myself rather than wring my hands over Obama's administration.

4th of July is a celebration of American freedoms first. The grills, shopping, etc. are secondary to what the day stands for...

Our freedoms give us a right to make those secondary things our priorities though.

But for many Americans, they are not our priorities these days.

Thanks for the info.

Oh yea, the insults are soon to start flying - but no one cares. Those who attended think it's funny that people opposed are evidently so frightened about it. The best way to let something die is to ignore it, not keep talking about it. MSNBC did a great job of advertising the Tea party even though they were trying to demean it. Oh well.

Did find interesting info about MSNBC and all their insults - certainly explains a lot:
GE owns NBC and MSNBC.
GE got a $139 billion bailout in November, there is talk that they may be
needing more.
GE has invested and relied on their green products divison for profit - profits have been down, they do not expect to reach their target of $25 billion, but do expect things to improve due to the stimulus bill.
GE has invested a lot of money lobbying govt for the Cap and Trade.
GE has a joint venture called Greenhouse Gas Services, which is to invest and trade in greenhouse gas credits generated by the Cap and Trade bill

People can do that any of the other 364 days of the year, with fewer crowds at the beaches and parks.
