No because nothing will come of it, but waste time.

I already have plans for the 4th that do not involve DC; even if I didn't, I wouldn't attend one in my home town. Got better things to do.

Do you have any idea how many really cool things there are to do in the Washington DC area on July 4? Do you realize that it's also one of the biggest and busiest beach, boating, and mountain weekends of the Summer for folks who live here? Why in the world would anyone either travel here or stay here for the purpose of foregoing all of those other things in favor of spending time at some ridiculous Tea Party?

I chose Other because I would attend, but only to counter-protest.

I think these "tea bagging" parties just further demonstrates how out-of-touch the Republicans are with mainstream society. It's almost too hard to believe that the Republicans couldn't foresee how their official mascot, the "tea bag," might get ridiculed in the media by the likes of Jon Stewart or Keith Olbermann.

i am sure that americans who care about the economic future of their country are not too interested in the opinion of television giants like jon stewart or keith olbermann. these men are simply in entertainment, where they make their living, and the rest of us worry about our jobs, our futures, and our children's futures. you might want to take a look at this graph if you think things are going well for the united states economy. don't you think it is time that somebody takes a stand and does something? i have plenty more equally compelling graphs to load on the financial stability of the united states.

I hope to see some more conservative professors and assorted academians next time around, to further disprove the lunatic notion that tea parties are out of touch Republicans only. Got the privilege to see two Ph. D. educated individuals speak at the last tea party, one M.D. and a Ph. D. in Economics and Political Science chairperson at Duke University.

Considering the unprofessional conduct of Anderson Cooper, I also hope to see more fringe elements of "journalism" from n00b CNN reporters like this.

If it was just about any other day then yes
