You'd have to ask Bush's grand daddy on that one, maybe he'd shed some light since he was kind of close to this killing machine...

However, even not using "socialism" to justify my argument, their roll in this entire mess is a huge step over the line of the enumerated powers of the federal government. Or, show me in the constitution where this action with GM is allowed? How about healthcare? How about cap and trade?

The constitution is pretty explicit into the enumerated powers of the feds. All of that is taking a back seat with people who agree with the policies being passed in violation. When the righties passed legislation which violated this amendment (patriot act), the lefties screamed bloody murder. At least I have the logic to call both of them for what they are.
Your argument about GM is weak at best... Obama went in, swung the axe a bit, restructured and as GM is able to stand on it's own two feet Obama will then step away. Health Care, sounds like your pretty much in the minority when it comes to that issue. Majority of Americans do what some sort of reform whether it be single payer or public option.

David Greising must be one of their liberal lackeys. Having a "slobbering love affair" with his boy Bam. And hoping a dumbed-down public will believe his drivel.

As U.S. celebrates July 4th, rest assured that Obama is no socialist -- chicagotribune.com

Agreed. He is a Marxist.
