I am not a snob but
I am LIBERAL with my money for my neighbors and friends by shopping at LOCAL BUSINESSES.
If supporting my local community businesses is snobbish, then, fine, call me a snob.

I always liked Target, but I avoid Wal-Mart if I can help it. Not because I'm a snob, but if I can afford it, I like to support local businesses. Here in Michigan we have a big box store called Meijer, but it's headquartered in Grand Rapids, and family owned, so I get all the wal-mart conveniences while supporting the local economy. Score!

Oh yes....I know the type...they are the same type that wins a workmans comp settlement or some other winfall and then goes and blows $10 grand on a piano to put in a trailer and none of them can even play piano(I'm refering to a family of idiots who live down the road from me and did just that...$125,000 basically fell out of the sky for them and after surviving on $15g a year their whole lives, they blew $125g in less than two months....I'm sure glad they liked buying horses, horse trailers and saddlesI just wish they could win a lawsuit every 6 months,I could retire early and be a man of leisure)

it's because poor people are idiots. playing the lottery when you are poor is idiotic to begin with. if they put that $50 a month into a mutual fund, then they would be able to create some wealth. they run into problems unforseen by only them. when you buy a million dollar home, your property taxes are going to be brutal.

Unlike the Obama types, I would continue to feel that ordinary stores are good enough for me.
