I still would because I do not want to become one of those stuck up limousine liberal millionaire snobs who look down on people who shop at Wal-Mart and Target.

We don't have Wal-Mart or Target in the UK but yes, I would continue to shop at supermarkets. Although having money in the bank as a safety net would be nice, I've never yearned for a millionaire's lifestyle. Just so long as I have enough to pay the bills and go out with friends, I'm a happy bunny.
I imagine I would shop where it was convenient to do so. If there was a Target near-by, sure...I'd keep shopping there. It would also depend on what I wanted to buy. I do a lot of shopping at Kohl's because it's a great place to buy basic stuff.
I don't shop at Walmart anyway. They sell cheap crap that isn't worth the effort of trying to squeeze through their narrow aisles. Add to this their mentality of intentionally targeting mom and pop stores to drive them out of business.
Add to this the fact they like to hire illegals.
Add to this that they have no storage space and often don't have the sale items in inventory.
I would rather shop where I can buy quality, where they have the product in inventory and where american made is found in quantity.
I love both stores. If I won a fat lottery not only would I continue to shop there, I would buy a big chunk of stock in both companies, especially Walmart, and put it aside for my children's future. Not even this current administration will be able to kill off these companies.
I guess I don't live close enough to any cities cause I can't find this anywhere. Too bad Sam Walton died, because Wal-Mart used to carry this policy.
Anyway, as said before, no matter how much money I had, I would still shop for my own convienence, so for where I live, that means Wal-Mart because I can get everything in one trip/one store, and I've read they are working on a new checkout system where you walk your cart through a sensor and it rings up everything....that would be awesome.

I shop the local hardware stores, mom and pop stores and no I don't shop Lowes or home depots. I go to real lumber yards where the workers actually know what they are talking about and service still means something.
I would have to be pretty low on my luck to even consider shopping Walmart.
I live in the sticks and have no problem driving a few more miles to shop and I don't mind paying a little more to the mom and pop establishments.
