And I'm not sure what to think. I've been reading so much about him and how people blame him for things so I figured I'd give him a look-see.
I have to ask...is he for real? I mean it does look like a spoof, or like someone trying really hard to ACT like he's spoofing, but this is supposed to be serious? He makes funny noises, does silly voices, makes faces and mugs to the camera, does skits, etc.
I've seen Comedy Centrals shows (The Daily Show, Colbert Report) and I KNOW those are joke shows that touch on real issues, is Glen Beck's show satirical?
I use to watch him until he went to fox news channel and went crazy. Glenn beck like most conservative talk show host is a former drug addict. Rush, Glenn beck, all drugs addicts and alcoholics, so yes they act weird and say funny things becuase their brains don't function properly
Apparenly you love Beck because you think he serves to silence and prevent "liberals" from getting anywhere. And by "liberals" we now mean ANY Democrate or any person who hold a differing postion from the extreme right. AND you seen to be proud of that.

I wasn't asked to address the "issues he brings up." My post was a direct response to another poster's question:
"How does that make you feel that what you consider a joke blows any liberal out of the running on ratings. Even a joke beats them?"
The poster asked how it makes some of us feel that Beck has higher ratings than the credible commentators/journalists, and I answered him honestly. A discussion of the issues was not germane to the question posed.

Pretty sure ALL those issues were discussed to death before and during the election by everyone with a voice, including MSM and ALL the talking heads. You couldn't even log on to the internet without seeing a poll or report or blog on a homepage. There are no answers that can be give that will satisfy people who hate Obama, so to keep addressing things, in perpetuity, is pointless. Kinda surprised you didn't put "birth certificate" on that list.

Satirical is the answer. This is not bad at all considering that talking about politics alone, and in a serious way, turns sower very fast. I listen to Rush, and then Savage. Savage is satirical, while Rush is very serious about politics, so I am beginning to drift toward both Savage and Beck lately. I will return to Rush later when he relaxes a little and re-introduces satire or a little fun to his show. He used to do that not too long ago, sometimes by bringing some entertaining characters as hosts.
