Um, many judges are appointed, not voted on and there's such a thing as separation of powers for the exact purpose of preventing judicial activism.

We need more judicial review and less public voting, you must consider that the public is mostly uneducated dummies.

I believe in the concept of one God. I don't care about religion, I don't believe in the bible, I don't practice any form of religion I think it's brainwashing dogma.

I will say that I respect other people's right to follow religion if they want and I don't make fun of their beliefs.

The same cannot be said about homosexuals of non-homosexuals who disagree with them obviously.

exactly. imagine how long it would have took for segregation to be overturned if it was "left to the people".

courts exist to protect the minority from the TYRANNY of the majority.

thats basic. but i doubt these posters get it.

they are trying to make some backward point. its silly.

Equal Rights should never be put up for a vote.

No they don't, and putting ones genitalia in odd places does not make one a "minority." Whats next foot fetish Americans?

Foot fetish Americans CAN get married. Fat festish Americans can get married. When a fetish American goes in for a job interview he isn't going to get dirty looks and poor service. Let's not be ignorant.

By definition, I think it does. Anyone who is not in the majority is part of the minority. Simple English.

Or is your point that heterosexuals are psychologically normal and non-heterosexuals are not?
