Try education. I'm reading a good book on Elizabeth Cady Stanton by Ginzberg....she was truly amazing and so were her contemporaries.
Elizabeth was a spoiled rich girl who liked to flirt, loved men, had 8 kids, and was a radical feminist.

Many feminists were jailed, beaten, ridiculed, disowned and divorced(and in those days a man could divorce his wife, throw her out with NOTHING, not even her clothes because HE owned them, too!)

But don't let that affect you in any way...what others went through for your rights.
See this is exactly what brings a bad taste in my mouth when i hear feminism. I respect the women who fought for equal rights. I'm all for equal rights.

You're reading into something that isn't there, You're sounding more bitter than anything else.

What i said was that i don't like it when it turns to the over zealous "Men are pigs" or "Men are horrible" and what not. Sure alot of us are, mot not all of us are that bad. I also said that i dislike women that try to go BEYOND equal rights. You have got all your way to equal rights, fought bled and cried for them. And i wish that you will finally be able to enjoy the fruit of that labor.

But sounding this bitter and reading something that isn't there. Is not going to change my view on feminism. I'm sorry.

OK, calling someone bitter, "reading something that isn't there", is like calling someone a Nazi-this or Nazi-that...destroys credibility and doesn't offer a legitimate argument. Does everyone with whom you disagee sound bitter to you???

I quoted this sentence of yours and responded. "Can't really say feminists have the most amazing reputation in my mind right now."

It's unfortunate that you couldn't get anything else from that post but that doesn't make me bitter.

Anyone can be anti-male, anti-marriage, anti-traditional sentiments, pro abortion and they have a right to be. They do not have to be women or feminists. I do not believe in tradition and would never push it down anybodies throat. I am pro abortion and always will be. Anti male? It happens sometimes. Men. Sigh sigh! When will they learn?

Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions that you vote against the same women who fought for your rights.
I would never vote against women's rights but as several posters have stated, my initial impression when I saw the poll was the radical feminazis which defined the feminist movement for me. As we clearly can see, "feminism" means different things to different folks. Maybe if the poll was worded "Are you for or against women's rights and equality" then the results would more than likely be unanimous in favor of the women. The poll's results is due to the ambiguity surrounding the term feminism and not reflective of folks true views on women's rights.

Please show some proof..
Watch television and YT videos. They're just divorcing randomly instead of working things out, thanks to the wave of organized crime (feminism).

My argument? Why would i want to argue? That's just silly. I do share your views on it, i just don't like the way it's worded. This is kind of what i ment with reading too much into it, or something that isn't there. Anyway, I'm sorry if i offended you. That was not my intention, and for that i'm sorry. For the other part, i agree with you, I just didn't like the way it came forward. As i agree with alot of feminists, i just don't like the way half of them say it.

Ya know, for somebody who posted """""reading something that isn't there", you sure practice it a lot....I wasn't "offended".

Try reading a post...the WORDS in a post...that way the FACTS are clearer. Imagining people's emotions is not only a waste of time but off topic.

Oy vey!

Well if it's happening on Youtube, it must be true then, thanks for the clarification

It takes two people to get married, and two people to get divorced. The blame is shared, sometimes the ratios of blame are not, but that is totally subjective.

I don't watch most cartoons. They're awful in this day and time.
