Now that's B. Obama's line.

"umm, umm, umm"

I used to help train people for public speaking, and you would be surprised how many well educated people end up sounding like idiots. I can excuse Michelle, because she is not expected to be a professional public speaker. Barack 0bama has no excuse whatsoever. 0bama must surround himself with yes men and sycophants, or he is such a narcissist that he will not tolerate anyone to be critical of him in any way. His handlers have got to know how bad his over use of crutch words and phrases are, but they dare not bring up the issue with him, or be out of a job

you know... it's really mind boggling.

President Obama took office after an 8 year reign of a Republican presidency.

The country was already in the worst recession we've seen since the Great Depression when he stepped into office.

Under his leadership, our country has weathered some tough years. Because of his leadership, we did not have another Great Depression.

And now, the Republicans are spouting how "they can fix what ails us". They really believe they are the party with the plan...

you know... If they gain control again and do all the things that they plan on doing to "fix the economy"....

God help us all!

"You know" is a sign of nerves getting the best of someone. I cant stand it when my wife talks work without being prepared because every 3rd word is you and every 4th is know. Sounds like the 1st lady was either nervous or unprepared for her interview. The prez doesnt have a excuse but is as weak as gwb at working without a script. Few recent presidents have been good unscripted. Reagan and clinton being the only recent ones i can remember. Ghwb gaffed with read my lips.

I don't expect a first lady to be a great speaker. Most of them keep their traps shut except for specific causes or charities. In the case of this one, yikes! She's something straight from a horror movie.

Not always dry.
Don't forget the pretzel incident or drinking with the G-8 in Europe or being drunk as a skunk at the Olympics in Beijing.
