Did anyone see the interview with Michelle Obama and Huckabee? It was a nice interview, but I never expected someone so used to public speaking saying "you know" about 2x in each sentance. It was just as annoying as when Caroline Kennedy "ummed" her way through that interview that sunk her chances for NY Governor, or Senator or whatever.
You know, sometimes people do things for reasons that others may not understand...
and, then...
Some people can't win, no matter what they do....
no matter how hard they try to be nice, try to be a good wife and mother and to do all of the things that are expected of a first lady... you know??? ...
If they make healthy kids their goal, as all first ladies are to have something they're working on... they're fat and who cares if children are fat, anyway? Do you know what I mean ???
And, if they're eloquent speakers, they're accused of talking down to people, being too educated and too professor like... You know???
I really admire her efforts.
and,...
I'd be very careful about underestimating Michelle Obama.
She's a very smart lady, you know???

It's painful and annoying to listen to people speak when they use "fillers" like that. My husband does the same thing with "uhhh" when speaking. Drives me batty and I don't pay any attention to what he is saying. It would do her good to work on this so people actually listen to her.
