Many places have a single room bathroom setup. It's technically "unisex" since everyone uses it, just not at the same time. But it can also be used for 'families' when a parent needs to take a child in, etc.
I don't know what you mean. Nobody has actually "supported" anything because nothing has actually been proposed. It's all academic at this point, a bunch of what-if's, how's and why's. And there is nothing in this world that doesn't benefit from discussion. Nothing.
Did you read the link? The Transgender Law allowing Boys Who think they are girls to use the girls bathroom HAS been proposed. And, the opposition was NOT informed of the meeting and was NOT allowed to ask questions in order to have the issue "benefit from discussion."
Things are a little "different" on the east coast. If you haven't lived here, you have no idea!
I'll betcha a lot of 13-18 year old boys will all turn "transgender" if this passes.
This goes for locker rooms too for sports..showers also ??

Well, with sexting so prevelent among teenagers, I'll wager they aren't going to be going in there to "do their business". This will just take it to the next level and making it much more convenient for teens to "meet up".
I can also think of many bad things coming from this at the middle/high school level. Girl walks into bathroom and 5 guys are in there ?????

The little girls' room won't be just for little girls anymore, if the Maine Human Rights Commission has its way.
The commission is taking heat over a controversial proposal to ban schools from enforcing gender divisions in sports teams, school organizations, bathrooms and locker rooms. It says forcing a student into a particular room or group because of his or her biological gender amounts to discrimination.
The Maine Commission is probably Pedophile Central. Why would they even think bathrooms and locker rooms might be a good idea? Let me guess. There is one transgender student/teacher in the state.
